This is a simple wooden toy for little ones
You get the wooden tube which in my opinion should have been varnished like the dice and ring
And the coloured wooden pegs that go into the coloured holes the pegs are coloured and have a lovely finish to them
The lid of the pot has two tiny magnets on think it would have been better with 4 magnets.
Also the pegs are all the same thickness..therefore any colour peg will fit in any colour hole.
You get 12 pegs 2 of each colour
Good for eye coordination.
Such a simple thing to make.maybe a bit over priced
My little girl 14months old absolutely loved this new game. She loved poking the sticks through the holes and when she managed it she was so happy. It’s beautifully painted and made, it comes in a little woven bag.
It also comes with a little wooden hoop and a dice with colours. Which is another fun game for the slightly older ones. The aim is you pick out the coloured stick which is on your dice and when the hoop falls due to the drawing of the sticks, it’s the end of the game and the one with the most sticks is the winner. Highly recommend and a great price for the quality.
Very lovely wooden tub with colourful sticks. Very useful to improve motor skills for little ones and to learn to match up the colour of the sticks with the colour of the holes. My little one found it very entertaining which is always a bonus!!
It’s not bad… I got this for one nephew who is still at the age where he enjoys montessori toys and exploration.
I love the wooden pieces, I always try to go for that rather than plastic (wooden montessori toys are pretty common I think, rather than plastic).
The quality is very good, and the ‘game’ is simple to follow- roll the dice and insert the rod into the corresponding coloured hole. I do also like that the set includes a bag so you can keep all the pieces together.
All in all it’s very nice, I’m just wondering if the current price tag of 16 is a smidge high? That’s just my opinion of course, but I can’t fault the quality.
