I needed a motion sensor light to go up in my outside porch area to come on when I came home at night so I could see to put the key in the door, and also to help delivery folk find the doorbell in winter darkness. I set this to come on with motion in the dark and it works a treat. Very happy with it.

PROS: Reasonable pricing, reasonable quality, brighter than most (400 lm Most of this size seem to be 300); one light is bright enough to light a porch and 5 outside steps. I like that it’s USB rechargeable (most need batteries, which gets expensive). Easy to fit. Excellent motion detector. Haven’t had it long enough to ascertain how often it will need recharging, but it’s worked perfectly for about two weeks so far without needing to be charged.
CONS: Ugly. Very cold white light, no option for warm white.
RECOMMENDED? Yes, absolutely, if aesthetics are not a priority!
Nice big light with 3 settings for brightness, we have it on medium in a toilet with a north facing window. It was a bit temperamental to start with, but that could have been me misunderstanding the instructions, which funnily enough were easy to read. You can change the sensitivity of the light to react to ovement or darkness, and have the light on for 15, 30 or 60 minutes. The only bit I don’t get, is it has an auto off after 20 seconds and this sometimes kicks in even when it’s set to 15 minutes. Overall, really pleased and whilst this is in place for visitors pending the electrics being completed, we will definitely use it elsewhere afterwards.
Bought this for understairs cupboard as couldn’t be bothered to run electrics just for a coat cupboard. This took minutes to install, it’s bright and battery seems to last so far. The sensor works and light soon goes off once I shut the door. Happy customer and happy wife!
