Simple charger, does exactly as advertised and is supposed to, charging speeds are the same as original not any faster or slower and material is great for withstanding standard wear.
As someone who frequently travels and requires reliable charging solutions for my iPhone, I recently purchased this product. The standout feature for me is its convenient length, which proves to be incredibly useful, especially in situations where the closest power socket is not within easy reach. This aspect of the product is a true lifesaver in many travel scenarios and in hotel rooms where outlet placements can be less than ideal.
However, while the length of the cable meets my needs perfectly, I have reservations about the quality of the cable, particularly at the lightning port end. The construction does not appear to be very robust, raising concerns about its long-term durability. Given the nature of regular use and the wear and tear that charging cables often undergo, this is a significant factor to consider.
Despite this concern, the overall functionality and the sheer convenience of the cable’s length have been satisfactory. Therefore, I’ve rated this product 4 out of 5 stars. It serves its purpose well for charging my iPhone, especially during travel, but there’s room for improvement in the build quality to ensure longevity and durability. Potential buyers might want to weigh the convenience against the possible need for a replacement in the future.
We have several older iPhone models in the house which will still get a few years use and I expect the lightning cables to become harder to find now that usb-c is more common, so I’m happy to have this collection of 5 cables, should last a few years even with the rough treatment our cables get in this household. The long 3m cable is of course ideal for charging when you need to keep using the phone on the sofa or in bed. The two short 1m cables are handy for the car where I don’t want any tangles, and the two 2m ones will get the most use.
The cables come in nice packaging with a resealable storage bag, which should help keep things tidy, see the attached pictures.
Note that the cables also work as data cables, for syncing, backups etc.
Of course, a proper review for cables like these requires time, several months of regular usage are good to report on for example. So I will post back here if there are any serious failings in the near future – otherwise you can assume I have not had major problems with these cables.
Travelling a lot for work I often find that some hotels don’t have plug sockets or USB ports close to the bed. These different length cables mean I can pick and choose the one I need based on socket location.
They seem sturdy and robust and charge both of my iPhones without any problems. I have noticed on the longer cables a reduction in the speed of the charge, so bare this in mind when deciding if they’re right for you.
This set offers great value with various lengths. The cables are compatible with all of my Apple devices that fits this charger whilst also providing fast charging. However, while functional, the overall build quality and durability could be slightly improved. It’s a solid choice for those in need of multiple cable lengths.
You get 5x cables in the package ranging from 3ft to 10ft. Have used all lengths and my phone is charging fine and I haven’t noticed a speed reduction whilst using the longer cable, which is a relief. Having 5x cables is helpful as I have lost cables in the past and its handy having charging ports in different parts of the house and in my travel bag. All good.
