    What I like:
    – Sturdy.
    – Handles that are strongly stitched to the bags.
    – Handles on the top and on the side: Makes it easier for handling and tipping garden waste out of the bag.
    – Collapsible nad thus compact. Easy to store.
    – Easy to clean / wash / dry.
    – Large capacity.
    – Hoop to maintain the bag open. It is also removable, so that you can use it or not.
    – It is sturdy, but don’t know yet how it will handle sharp or thorny garden waste.

    What I would change:
    – Adding heavy duty handles to spread the weight of a full and heavy bag across the palm of the hand and to make it easier to handle the bag.
    – The canvas / plastic to be a bit thicker, in order not to tear/puncture when filling the bags with sharp garden waste and thorny material.
    – Really tight stitching at the seams to prevent water from leaking out (important for me since I must take my garden waste to the local tip in the boot of my car and use a tarpaulin to protect its carpet).
    – A bit cheaper. It’s only a piece of plastic after all.

Note: I haven’t used this product for long enough to determine if it is or not sturdy.

These are a lot bigger than I expected. I don’t think you appreciate the size until it’s standing right next to you. Mine measured 96cm tall and 74cm in diameter which, according to my slightly rusty maths, comes out at 412 litres for each bag. Not the 500 litres in the description, but then you do get two of them, so I suppose you’re actually getting over 800 litres. To put this into context, a normal black wheelie bin is only 240 litres. So you have ample room to store all the hedge clippings that you couldn’t fit in the bin. It’s particularly useful for cutting hedges. I’ve made do with muck tubs for years and I have to keep emptying them every five minutes, but one of these bags is enough to hold pretty much my whole hedge, so now I don’t have to worry. The best part is that they fold back down to almost nothing when you’ve finished. The original, flattened package that arrived was 30x24x6cm. I can never quite manage to fold it back to that size, but it doesn’t take up much more space when I’ve finished. Assembly can be pretty tricky, if you’re on your own, but it’s definitely possible. There’s a hoop that runs around the rim of the bag, which can be a bit bothersome, but it gets easier with practice. I’ve wanted one of these for years and always put it off, but now I’ve finally got one, I really do wish I’d got one sooner.

At the time of ordering, I didn’t realise how big these were, it was only when I took delivery and opened up the bag in the front room, that I saw how huge these were. If compared to the usual garden waste bags given by our local council these are perhaps double the size. These work out to be great for our personal use, as the 5 bags we had weren’t nearly enough for our garden waste, partly because we have side access to the property meaning more hedges for us to trim.

The bags themselves are fairly well made, but I can imagine that they would be cumbersome to move around, particularly once full, and to be honest, I’m not entirely sure whether the council will even accept such big bags, especially if there filled to the top. Nevertheless, these are indeed extremely useful bags. This past summer we had an abundance of apples and plums fall from the trees and all over our lawn, which made a mess and we didn’t have enough bags to throw them in, hence these would have been ideal.

You get 2 bags in the packing accompanied by the plastic strips which you feed through the hoops. This gives the bags their form and keeps them open which is convenient, plus you get handles on all four sides making them more manageable. I am happy with these garden waste bags, they’ll be coming in very handy over the coming seasons.

The IWTTWY Garden Waste Bags 500L are Reusable heavy-duty, large capacity Garden Bags. These are great for collecting leaves in the autumn or grass or hedge trims. The bags are well-made, sturdy and have strong holding loops. These are great to be used as an additional bin if the main bin is full. Overall, I am happy with the quality and capacity of the bin bags and would recommend them.

These garden bins are a must for anyone with a backyard with grass or plants. With our council charging 50 for a garden bin, we decided to ditch them and buy these as its not very often that we need it. The bins arrived very well packaged and are made of excellent quality material. They can hold lots of garden waste and the handles are strong and well placed.

These came and I was surprised at how big they were! Very pleased with the quality of them and cant wait to get using them for collecting leaves and hedge trimmings. The stitching feels good quality and they are exactly what they say on the tin. Very pleased

The two green bags come packaged in a clear plastic wrapper. They are not that heavy considering the size of the item. In addition to the bags, you get two black thicker plastic strips for inserting into the rim of the bags to keep them open in use. These were a little tricky to insert into the rim as it is quite large, and at the end, I had to weave the last part back into the starting point of the rim. These bags are HUGE. I mis-read the volume, thinking it was 50L, which is a good comfortable size for garden waste, clippings etc, but these bags are listed as having a volume of 500L, which are larger than the average household rubbish wheely bins. They are useful to collect a large amount of waste, either garden or otherwise. The open fixed rim helps make it easy to fill them. There are two handles at the top to carry the bags, and two at the bottom to help when emptying. The woven plastic material of the bags seems sturdy but will have to see how long it lasts. Overall, this is a pair of useful, portable, easy to erect waste containers. But they are very large and as a consequence will be heavy to lift or move when full.

    Positives:-
    Very large- 800mm diameter x 1000mm height.
Extremely large capacity – 500 litres.
Made of heavy duty, waterproof, polypropylene woven material.
    Sturdy carrying handles.
Foldable for storage, but see negatives.

    Negatives:
It was much more difficult to thread the rigid plastic reinforcement through the circumference of the top of the bags, than shown in the video on the Amazon UK website..
With the plastic reinforcement in situ, it is not possible to fold the bags up to the very small size they were originally.
So either you accept that fact, or you have to remove the plastic reinforcement every time if you want to store the bags folded up as small as possible.
Then you have the hassle of having to thread it through them again when you want to reuse the bags.

    Observations:-
Came very neatly folded up in a clear plastic bag with a self-seal flap, with each bag measuring approximately 240mm x 310mm x 40mm.

    Conclusion:-
I had not realised just how large these reusable garden waste bags would be when unfolded and assembled, but they will just fit height-wise in my small car, with the back seats down, for trips to the recycling centre.
With hindsight, 250 litre or 300 litre size bags would be much more manageable.

These garden bags are robust and a great size for collecting up waste in our large garden. We often struggle to find containers big enough to transport all rubbish to the tip and these are perfect- roomy enough to fit everything in and sturdy enough to protect your car seat.

The photos of the perfect pop up bags is slightly misleading but these bags are definitely worth the investment. They are a good price and will undoubtedly last for years!

These garden refuse bags are big.
They are made from strong woven polypropylene fabric and you get two in the pack. Each has handles at the top and bottom for lifting and tipping. You also get a rigid length of plastic to thread through the tops of them to keep the bag open if needed, although this would need to be removed again if you wanted fold them up for storage, but I’ve just flat packed them down with them in situ and stored them in the shed.
They’re large enough to take 500L of garden waste, so should be big enough for most jobs, although be mindful that if you fill them up with really heavy stuff you’re going to have to them lift them, so be aware of how much you cram into them.
We’ve got a huge bush that needs cutting back in our garden and I’m just waiting for it to start dying back a bit before I tackle it, and these will come in handy to dispose of the cuttings and get them to the tip.
You could also use them to take other things to the tip too, cardboard, plastics etc, they’ll hold anything (within reason) and will definitely get a lot of use.

An essential item for anyone with more than a few trees in their garden.
They come into their own for only a few weeks each year, but when they do it’s a joy as their huge capacity gobbles up the tons of leaves which seem to come down faster than you can rake them up.
Best of all, they stay open.
None of the horror of the leaves going everywhere as you try to unload them into a builder’s bag which keeps flopping over.
And no having to chase the leaves which blow out of a wheelbarrow as soon as you’ve put them in.
My bags arrived at the perfect time as the willows are in full shedding mode and these bags will mean a dramatic reduction in collection time.
They will come in handy for general garden tidying during the rest the year, but it’s the leaf-gobbling that makes them invaluable.

These two garden waste bags from the brand IWTTWY are very large with a diameter of 48″/122cm and a height of 39″/99cm.
They’re made from tough polypropylene woven fabric and have a capacity of 500L. They have strong handles with one on either side of the top and two at the base to help with tipping the contents out. A hoop is supplied that threads through the seams at the top of the bags to keep them open and easy to use.
They’re hard-wearing and although their use in the garden is limited due to their size they’re ideal for holding general rubbish and light rubble.

Good size and reasonably strong too, going to come in very handy in next months as the back garden fills up with leaves, yes the trees look lovely this time of year, but the leaves are a pain.

    Hope my review was helpful

I got these heavy duty garden waste bags to help ease my garden maintenance duties, I previously used standard sacks with very narrow openings for this task, however I would constantly get scratched to pieces by the large blackberry thorns when emptying the sacks into the garden waste bin which only made an unpleasant experience worse.

With these sacks that is thankfully no longer an issue, they have very wide openings & can be used in 2 different ways to suit your particular requirements, they come flat packed & actually resemble a super sized tote bag with heavy duty handles rather than the cylindrical form as shown in the picture, however this cylindrical shape can be easily achieved by internally threading the black piping which is included in the pack.

They can be easily folded for compact storage when not in use & the thick woven fabric makes them durable so they can be reused repeatedly without having to constantly be replaced which is better for the environment & your wallet.

The handles are thick & strong with a wide opening which allows you to grip the handles easily even whilst wearing gardening gloves which saves me time, mess & faff, I am by no means a gardening fan It is simply a chore that I have to get done though I am fan of anything that makes achieving my tasks a little easier & these fit into that category perfectly.

The only reason I have taken a star off in my review is for the confusion in the initial appearance of the bags as I didn’t expect to have to construct them myself in order to use them as shown in the picture.

These two garden waste bags were a bit of a shock when we opened up the bag they came in!
    They are absolutely HUGE!
Thankfully they are very strong and very well made, they have approx. 30″ diameter cylinder shape approx. 36″ high with a plastic ring included so you can make them stand up for easy loading even when completely empty!
There are strong handles on two sides, top and bottom, though to be honest I cant think of many things you could fill this with and two people be able to pick it up! Dry leaves maybe? Not much else!
They are made with a woven material not unlike a decent tarpaulin.
We are going to primarily use these to protect the interior of our cars boot (Trunk) when taking rubbish to the dump. we can load direct into these in the car and offload them at the dump.
Considering what it would cost to clean / repair the cars boot these are an absolute bargain!

    Happy to help!

I simply love these bags. I have been on the lookout for a replacement to large garden refuse bags for weeds, branches and garden waste and these totally tick the box. They are enormous, seem really strong and they are well designed. They are really big and i would need to be careful not to overfill them, as they could be difficult to move, they are that big. And it also means there is plenty of space to fold over the top to prevent spillage in, say, my car. There is a strong plastic strengthened to feed through to give the bags resilience, and two handles for lifting/dragging, together with a third handle on the bottom for lifting and emptying into the skips at the council refuse site. They are a little pricey, but not expensive compared to what else is around in the market, and it is worth the cost for what you get. Five stars !!

    These are HUGE!

They appear to be very well made and will be ideal for collecting leaves, losing small children and for adults to sleep in! Each bag comes with a plastic bead that can be fed through the top, to keep the bag open. Don’t be fooled though, this sounds easier than it is. Because there are only two holes, you have to try and push the plastic around the opening. It is do-able but takes a while. Once in it does keep the bag open, but as there is no other frame, the bag will sag without anything in. The product pictures of “perfectly round bags”, ‘erm … No. It also means that they are difficult to pack away with the plastic “in situ”, they are not “pop up bins”! So unless you have lots of space to leave them fully assembled, you will have to remove the plastic each time, and of course that means having to push it back around the next time.

As garden waste bags, they are great and value for money for a pack of two (currently 22.99 with an extra 10% off voucher at the time of the review). One star deducted because of the difficult level of pushing the plastic frame all the way round. For arthritic hands, it would be better if there were another couple of holes half way round the bag.
