Id like to note the customer service was amazing when i had trouble with my monitor Kate helped resolve my issue and was very helpful.
The monitor is great especially with the playstation 5 the quality is soo good i was getting full 120fps while playing connected to the ps5.
This is an honest review, a fantastic 240hz gaming monitor for the price, but its not as the listing suggest in anyway HDR, ive got through all my settings on windows 11 and cant get support for HDR
I was weary because of the ratings but youtube reviews are more of an accurate description of the display which all go in detail. I only play competitive fps games and it was great, it has as little ghosting as an IPS panel can have (if ran >200hz), just felt like my benq zowie display with better colour & refresh rate.
I love the monitor but i doesnt fit on my monitor arm and i cant find one that will fit any suggestions or a garantee one that will work please answer to the review, because i am lost.
Great choice. Not sure what people are talking about with ghosting and what not but mine has thankfully not done that so far. The stand is pretty big and unnecessarily large so i have used a monitor arm which i would recommend anyway no matter your monitor but that has fixed all my problems. Great colour, i have changed almost all the colour settings to suit my needs and is great at performance. Prettyyyy good. This is the most expensive thing I’ve ever bought as I’m still 16 but it was sure worth it.
So to preface I had originally come from a HP X34 which is an IPS panel, the colours on this aren’t as good as the prior IPS panel but that’s to be expected with it being a VA panel, but all in all the colours are actually really pretty good for a VA panel, a little bit of ghosting but this was fixed by just going into the settings to change the pixel response setting, for the money I’m very pleased with it, especially for the money, amazing value
Overall the monitor is really good the colours and contrast are crisp, however don’t be mislead, the monitor is 144hz but only on 1080p more at 1440p your locked to 60hz.
The monitar is very nice, with 144 hz and 27 inch, it was easy to set up aswell. it has nice colours and and balance, Problem is the Monior at random moments goes black for 2 or 3 seconds and it appears back again this happens maybe every 2 hours but is in long intervals and random moments. the cable is secure to the pc and its new so im unsure. One when the black screen occured while gaming the Monitor had lots of random colour pixles moving i had to restart the monitor and it never happend since, only once
Apart from that it works perfectly fine do recommend for its price.
It was unclear on how to assemble it due to it having no instructions but after about 5 minutes I managed to assemble everything. After testing it multiple times throughout the day it turned out to be perfect. Thank you!
When looking for a new PC monitor, deciding exactly where to start searching can be difficult. Many different types of monitors are available with various sizes, resolutions, panel types, and refresh rates, so buying a new monitor isn’t a straightforward process,
This monitors is versatile and also very easy to use and installed.
I must say this monitor has good picture quality and a high enough resolution for detailed images.
( especially for gaming)
This monitor is really good for specific uses also for gaming, office work, or content creation, it’s important to buy the right one for you and this amazing monitor does all the jobs really well .
Very happy and satisfied.
When i was looking for a new gaming monitor i didn’t want something that would unnecessarily cost a lot of money. I found this and had doubts, the biggest one was Gsync compatibility. But i decided to risk it because it had everything i needed like a 1440p resolution and 170 Hz and it had more like HDR.
After about a month of using it it is solid, it might need a few tinkering and tweaking to get it to your comfort level but its a fantastic monitor and it does what it says. The HDR looks amazing but you will need to tweak it a little bit in windows and nvidia settings to get it look good. In terms of Freesync and Gsync it has it. You just need to turn on freesync premium in the monitor menu and nvidia control panel will immediately detect a gsync compatible monitor and u can turn it on, and it works.
One thing i did notice on the monitor which is kinda cool and very efficient, was that if the brightness was just a bit too high and u didnt notice, the monitor would dim ever so slightly to not damage the display or your eyes, i later turned the brightness down and the diming stopped.
In conclusion its a good option for the money that i payed for this monitor but if you still have doubts about it, i dont blame you. Koorui is a Chinese company that features its monitors in E-Sports events. Do as you please with that information but as for my experience, its a great monitor.
Good value monitor.
Lots of adjustment, nice selection of ports 2 x HDMI 1 x DP.
Although frame is very thin, top and 2 sides have around a 6mm black border but it’s not too bad that it would annoy you.
Picture is very good but I haven’t tested it with intensive modern games as that isn’t it’s intended use.
Only negative comment I can make is that I didn’t realise it came with a power brick so monitor connector is a barrel jack and not a 3 pin kettle lead type. Not sure what will happen in the future if that goes fubar, maybe I’m concerning myself over nothing.
Before I review the product itself I want to address some of the worries people might have after looking at the reviews. Yes, this monitor is 165Hz, and it does support both FreeSync and G-Sync, despite what some reviews are claiming.
First off, the reason some people aren’t getting the full refresh rate of the monitor is most likely because of one of two things. They are either using the wrong type of cable (the display port cable provided with the monitor works perfectly and is capable of displaying the refresh rate of the monitor) or they have set the monitor’s resolution to one of the TV resolutions in their GPU control panel so they can’t use 165Hz. As for G-Sync, you need to enable FreeSync in the monitor’s settings, and it only works through display port.
Check the images provided for the specifics for enabling this stuff.
Now for the actual review, this part will be short and sweet. The monitor is really great for the price, and other than some ghosting (which can be alleviated with the monitor’s overdrive setting) is perfect. Sure, there are many better monitors, but what makes this one stand out is that it’s much better than the price makes it seem, and that monitors like this are normally more pricey. Hopefully this review convinced you if you were on the fence. I was worried when I saw some of the negative reviews before buying the monitor, but they are not accurate.
