I use this to add a connection from my router to TV… which is a bit far for WiFi. As the cable is flat, it can fit under carpets without leaving a bulge and under doors. Highly recommended.
I have struggled for years with poor Wi-Fi signal in the house. Bought this in August 2023 and plugged the ethernet cable into PC, direct from the router and it has greatly improved. Can’t say I magically have ultrafast internet but it has made a remarkable difference. Would recommend.
Bought this network cable as I was having buffering issues using PS5 on WiFi at peak times.
Once fitted this solved the problem instantly !
The cable is extremely thin so although it’s easy to fit and very discreet, I was concerned the signal strength might be affected but it wasn’t at all.
Very happy with the overall installed look, as it also comes with cable clips to keep things looking tidy.
Quality of the cable feels relatively good, nothing outstanding but is still going strong.
The length of the cable allows me to discreetly run the cable around my set up and is a great colour for the cable to blend in for cable management.
Speeds not effected over the length and gives you much better speeds than wifi.
Bought to get an Ethernet connection to my upstairs office desktop, and although it was a bit tricky to install, it now works great.
It is very long and also can be hidden underneath carpet. I did break it when trying to move it and so had to buy another one but that was mostly my fault.
Overall great product for the price!
It’s good, had a little bit of strange chemical rubbery smell. Feels thin and a little bit flimsy, but expected for the price. The only downside is that the plug itself might get stuck in some laptops so be careful, it might damage your ethernet port!!! Cannot comment on the durability. I suppose if not moved a lot and just sat there then it wouldn’t be an issue, but it does seem flimsy.
This one was bought to allow me to move my new Sky router further away from where it would have been installed if I’d used the <1m of cable provided. Wherever possible, I like to keep all my cables out of sight. There are already old CAT5 cables tucked into conduit that runs behind shelving. Compared to the others this flat CAT6 cable is far slimmer and easier to handle than those chunky old CAT5 runs (which can be a nightmare to get around corners without stressing/kinking the cable).
Other than that, it's doing its job nicely --- very much an item i'd recommend and buy again.
