Needed something to practice piano and produce music on Logic. These have replaced by Beyer Dynamic 880s which have started to cause my face to go numb! I haven’t A/B’ed them, but these IEMs give a great sound that’s surprisingly flat, with no hyped up bass or shrill highs. Certainly good enough for what I need and will try mixing on them at some point. They get hyped quite a bit and I’d say with good reason.
Super value but to get good sound need to experiment with tips to get really good fit as if you don’t the sound really suffers but when you get it they sound amazing for the money.
For the price (and in fact, also for a much higher price), these headphones are really outstanding. I have 34 pairs of headphones ranging up to 230 and these are definitely worth more than they cost. The differences between these and those costing several times as much is minimal. I can tell the difference but the price differential really does not seem worthwhile. Go buy – you won’t regret it!
If you want to talk about sound, these guys got it. Very nice to listen to music on the way home from work.
It’s light as well, so that it doesn’t feel like you’ve got weights in your ears (my previous IEM is the KZ ZSN Pro X).
On the default ear bud size, it didn’t fit my ear, but thanks to the additional bud sizes, it actually fits!
A few drawbacks: when I was trying to use my Fiio BTR5 to make calls with someone, it didn’t work. I couldn’t hear the other person in the other line. Had to switch to putting my phone to my ear.
Also, while I’m listening to music on the bus, sometimes it picks up the rumbling in the bus.
Cable feels cheap, like it could snap at any time.
Otherwise, pretty good value.
Good especially considering the price however for me it’s a tad sibilant. Build quality seems alright, the cable is meh but it’s not terrible. The included eartips are awful though. Also no carry pouch/case. However that’s forgivable at this price. Overall its quite good for the price point it’s not going to blow your socks off but for 25 it’s a solid choice.
Good quality and are quite natural in sound, you can hear the bass if used for music, but not to good for the sub bass, hence why I use them on Citizenband Radios and hamISH radio sets.
The Zero 2 Dynamic Driver in-ear monitors deliver a remarkable audio experience, especially considering their price point of 25.99. The sub-bass is deep and impressive, providing a rich, immersive listening experience. The highs are noteworthy, crisp and clear, making every note feel alive.
As I spent more time with these in-ear monitors, I was continuously amazed by their moment-to-moment fidelity. The sound quality is so exceptional that it may set a new standard for your audio expectations. Indeed, once you’ve experienced the Zero 2, you may discover that only top-tier speaker systems are comparable in sound quality.
What is truly astonishing is how these IEMs perform once you fine-tune them with some equalisation. They reach a level of performance that can only be described as world-class. When you feed these in-ear monitors well-recorded music, the experience is transformative, placing you at the very pinnacle of high-fidelity sound.
The Zero 2 in-ear monitors offer excellent audio quality at this price point. If you’re in the market for IEMs, make an intelligent choice with these. They provide outstanding performance at an affordable price of just 25.99, which is unparalleled.
These are fantastic BUT I highly recommend picking up a better cable like the Linsoul Tripowin Zonie 16 Core Silver Plated Cable. Not sure why but the one that came with this product was terrible with certain interfaces. Plugging it straight into something like my Switch or phone was fine. But into my GO XLR or PC was not, it would cause this awful crackling noise that sounded like heavy distortion. I really thought the headphones were broken when first trying them. All issues resolved with this new cable though. They sound amazing. 4 stars purely due to the need to get the extra cable otherwise it would be 5/5.
Once you’ve got the fit right and used to the over ear cable, these are brilliant for the price. They are without doubt the best sounding earbuds I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a few). The only slight niggle is the R + L markings on the cable and the buds could be cleare
It’s just a straight improvement to the original unless you were extremely attached to the frequency response – lots of people would eq the bass up a bit and slightly reduce treble if they found it too much – you could think of the zero 2 as having those eq changes already applied. Other than that it’s the same insane value, with a better plastic shell (i went with the turquoise colourway), better cable, and allegedly better driver. I couldn’t tell you whether the driver is actually better, to me it sounds about the same sound clarity as the original, just with slightly more “fullness” from a better bass response.
The only arguments against this for me are 1. You liked the relatively anemic bass response of the original (compared to rivals like the tangzu wa’ner) – i didn’t mind it personally but I was also one of the people who did bump up the low freqs by a couple dB
2. You already have the original and don’t want to spend the money again on what is effectively only a slight upgrade. It’s better imo, but not so much that I’d say you should run out and get them if youre already happy with your current 7hz zeros
3. you tried the original and they didn’t fit you. the shape is exactly the same here.
