Both of my cats absolutely love these treats! They come running as soon as they hear the packet being opened. The salmon flavour is a big hit with my cats!
Got this to give as a treat to cats we see when me and my boyfriend go for a walk on an evening. There’s a couple of stray cats we meet when walking on the moor that come and say hello to us, and they’re a whole lot more friendly when we give them these treats! Haven’t yet managed to convince the cat distribution system to allocate us a permanent resident, but it surely can’t be long!
My picky cat really likes these, I just wish there was a way to make them easier to open (and deliver to the cat) without making a mess or resorting to scissors.
I wasn’t sure what to expect here. The advert is uninformative. I expected actual cat treats. What you receive is a box with sixteen sachets of creamy, quite nice smelling thick paste which I offered to my cat and he wolfed it down. Apparently it tastes very nice and gets his vote.
Would I pay 5 for 16 of these, I am not sure. The quality seems good and it does smell like salmon so maybe.
I’ll be honest with you, I wasn’t even really sure what I was getting when I ordered these LUNA lickable cat treats. They’re described in the listing as treats, snacks, food and pouches. That really narrows it down, huh?!
What you receive is a small box of tube-like pouches or sachets. You tear the tops off the pouches and squeeze out what is a paste-like product. I thought it was odd that on the box it says “No yoghurt” but then I squeezed the product from the pouch/tube and I understood why they felt the need to add that message to the box.
Look, from the human perspective it wasn’t great, it’s sludgy and smells like fish. Also when it comes to squeezing these kinds of pouches I always wonder if I’ve got it all out and if I’m throwing away a half full pouch or not! However having said all of that, the cat certainly enjoyed it and it was gone in seconds. There wasn’t a great deal as the sachets aren’t huge (12g each) and this is certainly more of a quick treat than anything else – it wouldn’t replace wet or dry food in the rotation. But as I’ve said, the cat sure liked it and polished it off completely in very short order.
Overall I have to say these were a success because the cat certainly liked them. As far as would I buy them again…I don’t really think I would at the current listing price of 12 for 5. Personally I would rather just get a bag of treats from the supermarket for a lower price than this. But each to their own, it’s not my job to tell you how to spend your money and what I can tell you is that for sure my cat enjoyed the product and I have no reason to believe why other cats wouldn’t also enjoy slurping up the fishy sludge!
I didn’t expect these Luna cat treats to be tubes of creamy goo… but that’s exactly what they are. Each sachet contains a thick creamy mayonnaise-like treat which you either allow your cat to slowly lick away at the end of the packet as you gentle ooze out the goo, or squeeze it like salad cream into a suitable bowl or feeding plate.
The treat doesn’t smell very strong but does have a somewhat sardine-like fishy creamy aroma. At first I was convinced this might be a non-starter as the cat refused to go near it, never mind lick it or even show any sign of interest. However eventually after realising there wasn’t anything else on the menu, curiosity got the better of said adult moggy and the treat was consumed within a few minutes of intense licking.
Each box contains 12 treats and it’s good to see these contain all natural ingredients and no yoghurt or artificial additives. I never thought I’d be squeezing cat “mayo” out of a satchet but if you want to treat your feline friend to a scallop dreamy creamy then this might just be worth trying out.
Bought these for my cat and she absolutely adores them they are good quality and she can’t get enough of them , they are better quality than the LIKK e lixx ones well recommended
My cats love these. They are not as runny as other lick treats and so don’t drip. They are value for money I think because they are such good quality. I buy them regularly.
My 5 month old kitten loves these. We tried switching brands when we ran out but she was having none of it. She only wants these Luna treats. They are a nice thick consistency, we spread them on a licki mat.
Got them on subscribe and save now so we never run out.
My cat can’t get enough!! I use these to help me groom my British long haired kitty and he loves it. It’s literally like crack to him and has been amazing in helping us to groom his tum tum!!
Value for money, the main supplier of like these, donot think I xan mention but basically start with an L and end with an X price is extortionate, these are just as good, not as easy to open I use scissors
My cats love these teats. As my cats are old and the eldest cat has lost a lot of his teeth he goes mad for this .I can’t squeeze it out the tube quick enough .
I highly recommend this
What can I say! WOW Meow Meow lick lick yum yum ! My mummy bought me these yummy treats from Amazon and they are absolutely the most incredibly deliciously tasty creamy lick lick treat I have ever had in the whole wide world and the Milky Way and the universe, I love them so much, ever more than mice and spiders ( even more than that runny well know brand that drips all over mummy’s lovely sofa ) the consistency of these is perfect, not a drop wasted. Purrrrrrrrrrrrfectimungopops ! PS please send lifetime supply to my mummy meow meow xxxx
Been spending a fortune on lickable treats via Amazon as not much in tubes, but can use just one tube now of luna and kitties are happy.
Prior to this x2 tubes of well known brands were required as not much in tube and watery.Luna looks like chicken, thick in consistency, but more importantly, kitties love and price is right –
Got these for fussy elderly cat that just licks the gravy off other food. I add some vitamin paste to it as well, he keeps licking the dish clean and coming back for more and is looking healthier.
Bought these as a treat for our cat, who was having to endure lots of eye drops after an eye operation, we chose these because of the quality ingredients. She LOVED them so much that we’ve continued buying them, and she now has them when she comes in last thing at night (as she’s now kept in overnight in an effort to avoid needing another eye operation!). Excellent value for the ingredients too.
My kitten took a while to get use to it. I see it being more thick. I add it to her dried biscuits as a topper now and then or when she starts bitting on it I guess then she wants it. So that’s like every 3 days she goes for the packe
