Got this camera for my 9-year old niece for her scrapbooking.
The body is made of good quality plastic, amazing shade of purple which she loves.
Function-wise it’s very easy to operate, like a point and shoot really but you get to put some designs on it which she loves, but because it uses thermal paper the output is B&W but that doesn’t stop her imagination from making the photos more creative (she loves to paint/draw/colour). I think you can save the photo and transfer it to a pc but we haven’t tried that yet.
It came with a micro SD card, USB charging cable, 3 rolls of thermal paper and lanyard.
It’s a good camera for kids.
I must say this little camera is built great, it really looks the part and the picture quality is really good for a thermal printer. The kids found it really easy to navigate the menu. The only the issues we had were the paper jamming but I don’t think I’ve seen one of these that didn’t jam sometimes
The games are really good but kids today obviously have far better on their tablets so they were played once and never again
Overall I’d say this product is absolutely worth the price tag but I’d say kids over the age of 9 would lose interest very quickly
This instant camera is easy to use, just point, click and print. The photos are in black and white and the quality is ok, not great. It’s a good fun product for children up to about age 10.After that age many of them will have their own phones, which take better pictures and have more special effects and colour options.
The camera is made from durable materials and can withstand the rigours of everyday use. I have dropped it a few times, and it has never been damaged. The camera is very easy to use, even for young children. The controls are simple and intuitive. It prints photos instantly, which means that children can see their pictures right away. This is a great feature that keeps children engaged and entertained. However, the photo quality is not satisfactory.
A delightful camera designed for young users, it combines photography with instant printing for creative fun. It’s user-friendly, making it suitable for children to explore their photography skills. The camera comes with various effects and a printing feature, encouraging imagination and creativity. Its durable design and portability make it an ideal gift for kids, fostering a love for photography from a young age.
The purple camera I had looks lovely. It is easy to operate and it comes with a memory card and some thermal paper rolls. You basically just need to charge it and put the thermal paper, it is good to go. It is fun to print the picture you take immediately. I appreciate it added some pictures for colouring and a maze as factory setting, that is a good idea to keep the kids busy. However, I am not sure about the print quality, there are lines on it. I tried other instant camera with thermal printing before, those images are more clearer. It is also toy grade product finish. I think the price is slight higher than I expected.
This nifty little camera comes with 3 thermal print rolls, 32gb memory card, USB charger and lanyard. This camera is plain which is perfect for my 10 year old and makes this appropriate for all ages, I’d say 3-12.
The paper is really easy to install and in case you forget there is a sticker on the inside of the loader indicting which way it goes. The display screen is sharp and clear and has a zoom option and flash, the picture quality is actually very impressive, day or night. You can also adjust the print density for the perfect printed photo. As this is thermal printing, if you are printing continuously the print does go darker but leave it for a minute or so and it goes back to normal.
The print feature is by far my daughters favourite aspect of this camera, she prints photos to display on her wall, share with friends and colour in. You can add a variety of fun frames to the photos too so it keeps my daughter occupied for a long time.
There is a time lapse option but sadly no selfie option as all kids love a selfie.
The rest of the features are ok and the games were good, there is the classic snake game, power pinball and a Tetris style game, a nostalgic blast from the past for me and I quite enjoyed them but lets face it, if a kid born passed the millennium wants to play a game they aren’t going to reach for this so there a bit of an unnecessary feature really.
The only disappointment is that the paper slot corrugated to tear the photos of regularly gets jammed, it looks like it isn’t sharp enough to make a clean cut so you end up trying to print another photo but ending up with a printed mess because the paper isn’t coming out properly. The photos themselves come out a really decent size approx 8cm x 5cm which is excellent and the lanyard attaches to the camera with a swivel attachment that is very cool
My wife is a photography buff and wanted to try out a camera for our child’s first camera, so I got this for her to review.
The camera comes with three rolls of paper (one already inside the camera), a charging cable and a lanyard for portability.
The camera itself is very lightweight and not too bulky. The screen is fairly clear and not too bright.
The menu is easy to navigate with the arrow controls. However, the ‘OK’ button to select an option is the same trigger button you use to snap a photo, and the ‘back’ button is the power button… Quite confusing the first few times you use it.
The printing function is simple and prints as soon as you click.
Note: at the end of my video, I failed at ripping the printed photo cleanly with only one hand, so… please use both hands to avoid unwanted rips!
Overall, a nice camera for a young child to explore their little world, and at a pretty good price, too.
This camera is a fantastic addition to our home. It comes in a well-packaged box and feels solid, though it’s predominantly plastic. The setup was a breeze, and the three rolls of thermal printer paper ensure we won’t run out anytime soon. While the zoom can get grainy, the camera is user-friendly and perfect for our little ones. The misleading listing photos were a minor letdown, but with a 30% discount, it’s a great value at 26. We’re having a blast capturing memories with it.
This comes in a really nice box and is quite plasticcy – but feels pretty solid. It doesn’t include batteries as it’s rechargeable so no issue there. It also includes a 32GB memory card which you’d have to work hard to fill up. It also includes a USB Type C cable for charging, and most importantly 3 rolls of thermal printer paper.
It was really quick and easy to get going with it. One of the listing photos shows super smooth, sharp photos – which aren’t realistic, but the other product images, showing a photo coming out are in line with what you can get. Also, the 16x digital zoom gets very grainy and pixelated; it doesn’t stay super smooth & sharp like the photos in the listing suggest.
Overall we found the camera easy to use, has nice quality, and a 4 year old & 3 year old loved playing with it.
Overall I’m knocking a star off, as I think the photos in the listing should be totally representative, but with the 30% off voucher, making it 26, it’s a good product and good value.
