Great deal on this washing machine, it’s perfect for me living alone, has a fifteen and a 45 minute wash cycle plus all the usual wash cycles. There is nothing to dislike.
If you are looking for a good washing machine and quite this machine is definitely what you’re looking I will buy again from Media it has taken long time to make a video as I never hear the spin speed
I was initially skeptical about buying a Midea product, because it’s my first time. But to be honest, the washing machine has proved that one needs to explore other products and not just judge. This washing machine has not giving me any issues since I got it in January. It washes so clean and reliable so far. I would recommend this to anyone!
Good washer , good spin ,I’m happy with this machine
Ialso had the full installation with this item , however I need a extra long connection hose ,and the one with the machine is tight ,so I got a leak .
I normally go through a washing machine every 6 months so I’ve had a lot of experience with brands.
thought I’d try mid as I’ve fit their air conditioning in the past.
I am impressed, easy to use, the fast cycle actually works, definitely using less energy than my last 2 machines.
I’ve had experienced many washing machines in my life, and I really believe this one is my favourite. Its so quiet like REALLY quiet, with the odd “futuristic” whir occurring.
It has a modern digital dial, a blacked out drum window, making it very modern and sleek.
The chaps who delivered the washing machine did it quickly and efficiently and took away the rubbish, for the additional 30 this was so worth it.
All round 5/5 stars, I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a new washing machine.
My washing machine died on me so I went browsing for a replacement and found this beauty, at a good price and then on sale because of Black Friday, making it even better.
The machine is pretty quiet compared to others I’ve had over the years which is a bonus many buyers look for. It’s not totally silent of course but it doesn’t ‘scream’ while spinning at high speed. There are a lot of options available for washes and fewer for drying, this isn’t a problem though and the items I’ve washed and dried in it came out clean and fresh. A couple of items did come out with wet spots after a dry, BUT, this is my fault as I opted for the faster drying time, lesson learned.
The soap drawer can be removed too for cleaning, a nice bonus my old machine didn’t have so now I can clear out soap-scum left behind after multiple washes.
Cleaning out the rubber door-seal is easy too, just grab a cloth/sponge and wipe around to remove hair/debris and in my case, cat fur removed from clothing during a wash.
The brand may be unknown to many (it was for me) and will be cheaper than a ‘brand name’, but, it performs well and these days, with money being tight, is something to consider.
Overall I’m very impressed with this washer-dryer and recommend it to anyone seeking a replacement or as a new machine.
One of the quietest machines I have seen..Has got lots of functions. If one thing they could improve would be the drying of the clothes..My old machine used to give better dried clothes after each cycle compared to this. However, happy with the purchase so far..
Having previously used a washer/dryer ( Indesit ) I found myself ordering another as I am limited to space in my kitchen. I have been using this Midea one for the past 9 months and I am so happy with it, the 8kg wash and 6kg dry are perfect for our household as there is just me and my husband. There are a good deal of wash cycles to chose from using the lunar dial, plus you can manually alter the temperature/spin using the buttons on the facia. The top spin of 1400 leaves your washing damp ( providing you don’t overload ) the drum, ideal for hanging out or using a clothes airer. The dryer is fantastic, I only use the dryer for socks/underwear and towels/bedding, the towels are so fluffy and soft, heaven when you are getting out of the shower! The setting I use for this is the time dry using the dial, then press the dry button until it shows up 60, in total it will show 1:10 the ten minutes are for getting the excess water out of the washing and the remainder is drying time, don’t be alarmed when it starts spinning as this is normal!! If I am drying socks/underwear I do the same process but shorten the drying time to 30 which will show up as 40, ten minutes for the spinning and 30 for the drying. All in all I am extremely happy with my purchase, 10 out of 10 for me (:
Fantastic, slimer than others, deeper too , sturdy even on very fast 1400 spin, 15 min quick wash is very impressive (even manufacturer say light stains or dirt in manual can be removed)I use it on old blood stain on bathmat (heavy cotton ) with a little of stain remover and tested also old tea stains on tea towels – work like a wizz. STEAM WASH , PREWASH, WASH AND DRY !!! MY FAVE, STEAM CARE (NO MORE HANHELD STEAMERS more info on pictures ), MIX LOAD (cotton and synthetics), JEANS (you can use on heavy stains too), WASH AND DRY (washing and drying same load on one go -no more bending and 2 items to maintain BONUS), SUPER QUITE (60Db WASH as well DRY ) when most washers only are 65-80 dB. LOVELY SOFT SOUNDS INDICATE PROGRAM CHOISE OR START AND FINISH OF THE LOAD (YOU CAN SWITCH THEM OFF IF YOU WASH IN NIGHT ). CHILD LOCK ( *CL* showing remaining time ) this option deactivate functions of any other buttons) you need deactivate it before go to new program (*Extra RINSE +* Pre WASH pressed together . You will bearly hear it working (asside bit loader when steam is used as pomp drain all moiste to the pips).
FANTASTIC DELIVERY TEAM WHO PLUG AND BALANCE AND WELL TEST (mine was installed by European couple -boyfriend and girlfriend – yess couple, it was great see them work and predict eachever moves ahead of time – no need explain or direct all done swiftly and with smile ).
If you have standard 60 stace (wide) cupboards this item will fit like a glow .
I had high hopes for this, and installation wasn’t an issue.
When I ran the initial cycle (Cotton, 90C), four hours turned into twelve! The machine stopped with 45 mins to go with error code E10 indicating lack of water (in/out, when there was no problem ), and I had to keep restarting it every few minutes. (This is my third washing machine over 22 years in the same place, and no other machine had issues with water ingress or egress.)
The last ’45 mins’ turned into five hours, with the machine constantly repeating a cycle of filling with and expelling water, then showing E10. Even when it got to “0:01”, it went on and on and on. Eventually I discovered if I hold the off button, it would cancel the program.
I then tried the calibration procedure (which I have no idea how long it should last) – the drum spun a few times, then stopped, displaying 136.
I read a question on this page with a similar query, with a response stating the number should ‘count down’. However, I left it overnight, and it was still displaying 136 ten hours later in the morning.
As my washing was accumulating, I had to abandon the idea of calibration after a couple more tries that stalled as well, and have just put in my first load of washing. Fingers crossed it won’t take twelve hours
Any advice from the manufacturer gratefully received, on how to get the calibration to work.
Have given five stars on the premise that it sorts itself out and lives up to its promise.
Would be interested to hear if others had similar problems and how they were resolved.
Having no space for a separate humble dryer, we decided to upgrade from a washing machine to this Media MF200 washer dryer as really needed drying function. The machine is packed very well upon delivery and is easy to unpack as well. Cables and pipes are sufficiently long hence installation is rather easy. In addition, being a modern washer dryer, MF200 doesn’t need a flue at all so you can simply throw it into your normal space for washing machine.
Machine’s build quality is great and with the screen in the middle of the dial, it looks simply amazing! It has all the programs you ever need – from 15 min quick wash to eco to bulk and also modes like allergy care, steam care and wool to tackle specific purpose. You can also select what spinning speed, water temperature and how dry your want your clothes. The machine is rather settled and quiet too, I tested the 1400 RPM spin and can hear barely any noise from dinning room which is right next to the utility room!
Getting clothes dry is rather important here in the UK as we don’t have sunshine all the time particularly in winter. This washer dryer however does a great job effortlessly. Simply add ‘drying’ to a selected program and you can then head to your sofa for a football game or Tesco for grocery shopping! Benefit of a washer dryer over 2 separate machines – it saves you from remembering to unload from a washer and then reload to a dryer! Additionally, the airfresh function avoids unwanted odors when you forget about cloth washing and have to do it next morning before leaving for work. The child lock is also great function which protects your kids from the machine and/or protects your clothes in progress from your naughty little ones!
