Product delivered quickly and in good condition. An unexpected addition was the inclusion of a sample pack of coffees which wasn’t mentioned the ad! Quick and easy to make a decent tasting cup of coffee!
The best I have had, I got rid of my last coffee machine and was kind of thinking of what to get then thought to give this a trial and I am glad I did.
This purchase is my FIFTH Nespresso – simply because I absolutely love the coffee it makes, just the perfect tast, texture and froth. The first 2 machines were bought on Amazon UK and the second two on Amazon US. All four were made by different manufacturers: DeLonghi, Magimix etc. Every Nespresso machine stopped working within 3-6 months. I live in the Caribbean and was unable to return them. Every purchase I held my breath thinking a different manufacturer would be better, just bad luck. Absolutely not; every machine had fatal electrical and mechanical flaws in spite of the care given – filtered water, disconnection after use, regular cleaning etc. The issues ranged from electrical to an air block and were all irrepairable. So, about 600 later, I decided to do the Maths in justifying my most recent Black Friday purchase – 6 months use gives me coffee at 11pence per cup and then I dump the machine. So, basically buyer be very aware – amazing coffee from a fundamentally flawed machine. I am a profoundly disappointed fan.
After having purchased over the last 12 years ,the Nespresso pixie, plus, next and pop I have to say this one is the best value as the coffee is hot with a good crema and superior coffee taste.
Safe to say I am an addic
It was easy to set up and had my first cup or coffee ready in minutes. Which , I’ve got to say was better then starbucks and im starbucks mad
Only thing I am disappointed with is that its only compatible with the large pods and the variety is lacking .. BUTTTT , I kept all the coffee pods i used , removed the foil lid( and used coffee ) and put my own fresh coffee grounds in there and bought reusable plastic lids for them so now i can have what ever coffee i like at a fraction of the price Genius aye !
Milk frother is amazing, add some syrup and you’ve got yourself some cold foam like starbucks or you can have it hot.
Ice tray is adorable with the shapes it creates
The coffee cup is so cute aswell with a straw
And you actually get 3 boxes of coffee with it which I was really shocked at , so plenty to try and see what you like
Basically if you’re wondering if you should buy it , I would 100% recommend, you won’t be disappointed, just make sure to buy the reusable lids for the coffee pods
I was unaware that there are now two different Nespresso systems. This is the expensive one.
But my Tassimo gave up the day after I got this. So I am stuck with it.
The fast spinning, centrifugal brewed coffee has a 1cm frothy, aerated crema which you should fold in.
Only pods bought from Nespresso’s own website or shops work – so be prepared to pay 50-70p each
But as machine was discounted, contained 12 trial capsules to explore different flavours and sizes AND registering with Nespresso website got 5x10packs free the deal works out very well for the first 62 uses for 50 and you have the machine.
It absolutely meets our need to have a (just about) portable, high quality and variable flavour coffee maker for our road trips around hotels and airbnbs. Ordered as a small but delicious coffee maker – 5 stars from us
First impressions is it’s a lot longer than the other machines I’ve had and I’ve instead placed it side on which takes up less worktop space and still gives easy access to the water jug and capsule reject compartment.
I didn’t realise until I opened the sample pod pack there are 3 sizes of capsules, Espresso, Double Espresso and Mug. The deal was really good 50 and 25 worth of capsules after purchase compared to 140 for a replica of the old machine.
Makes good coffee lots of froth doesn’t take long to start either and no drips really at all.
The compartment for old capsules holds about 4.
You can press the button again to continue making your coffee longer but doesn’t seem to have an off option, just goes off after a few minutes.
I was in two minds about buying a loose coffee machine as it was the same price and would work out more cost effective in the long run but for the time being we’re sticking with this. It does look robust and the fact it doesn’t drip suggests it won’t have leaking issues.
