After trying this product for some time, I too noted the issues than others have stated. High pitched distortion then the device disconnects. You can then sometimes re-connect or have to power cycle the device. NOW I did manage to get around this going into the Bluetooth device on my phone and turning off spacial audio and contacts and call sharing. Since then the device has worked as expected for music anyway. Hope this helps someone else.

Brings the car into the 21st century. As is hopefully obvious from the product photo the cable between USB power side and headphone jack side is extremely short, ideal for cars like BMW where theres a jack and a USB cable in the centre console arm res

Whilst I can’t speak for other cars, this little dongle is prefect for me. I recently upgraded to a rather nice BMW F20 and was sorely disappointed with the lack of a Bluetooth audio option. In these one series models, the USB and aux is located inside the armrest console and so it tucks away pretty seamlessly.

Connecting to the item was absolutely flawless and took a couple of seconds, and sure enough, it connects instantly thereafter to my phone!

In terms of audio quality, it is on par, if not slightly better then the aux in. Very happy. Only thing I would say is if you turn up the volume in the car too much there is a *very slight* static noise which you can hear if you pause the music – to counteract this all you need to do is turn up your phone volume and turn down the car volume and it’s sorted.

I can’t comment on longevity yet but I’ve heard a few reviews saying it stops working after half a year , etc. For the price of this item, I would be happy to replace twice a year or so considering the audio quality and quality of life improvement!

All in all – great product. Will do the job. Comes with an aux extension cable in the box in case your USB and aux inputs are further away.

I’m in love with this product, it is so small and compact, looks very sleek in any car, and as soon as you plug it into the USB and Aux in your car, connect to it on your phone, you are ready to listen to anything you want, completely wirelessly. The quality of sound through it is also perfect (I have owned different products like this from other brands) and none of them sound as good as this one ! They are either too quiet, or the sound quality seems to be reduced, but not with the Palovue. 10/10 and I recently bought another one for my other car so I don’t have to share just one. Customer support team are also fantastic should you have any questions regarding the product! Highly recommend if you are looking a product for phone connectivity in your ca

Installed in my partners car in seconds. Very easy to pair and just works. No need to re-pair again.

Sounds better than the old adaptor that she had been using.

I can’t comment on voice calls because it’s tucked away in the glove box so unable to use that feature. For Bluetooth music streaming though, it’s great. Highly recommended!

Easy to install and works exactly as expected. The blue LED is on all the time, but it’s such a low current draw it has no impact on the car battery.

This is very well made, exceptionally compact, and so, so simply to set up. The device draws such a tiny amount of power that it can run from ancient stereo system usb sockets, and the microphone and call quality is superb. I’m deeply impressed!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI have a mini countryman 2015 r60 with the cd boost radio (which has bluetooth connectivity for phone calls but not audio streaming). I didn’t want to pay for a hifi upgrade and didn’t like the look of some of the other bluetooth streaming devices available which had wires or buttons. This little device is brilliant – it just plugs into the aux in & usb sockets in the central rail (so i now use the cig lighter for charging when needed), pair your phone and voil. In bluetooth settings I opted to use this for audio only, my car still handles calls, meaning I can still use the steering wheel buttons to answer and hang up. It connects automatically when I start the car up and plays seamlessly with great audio quality. A very simple and cost effective solution.

Set and forget. It switches on and connects to my phone when I switch the car on, and switches itself off when I switch the car off. Audio quality is great, and if your USB and aux ports are next to each other it’s a very tidy solutio

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersPlug and play. It is actually CD quality and perfect fit for usb near aux socket on a Skoda Roomster where the socket is next to handbrake so no trailing cables to catch. Works fine with iPhone, just select in Bluetooth which turns itself off when you switch off. Good sound quality and sound level. Appears well made and packaging good indicator. Not tried hands free mic yet but we’ll see how that gets on in updated review

    Updated review 10 February 23

Great until yesterday when it made a loud noise like sudden radio interference and the volume dropped by more than 50%. Been using 14 days.

Disconnected and un-paired and re-paired the link flow with my iPhone but the problem persists. Turning the volume up from 12 to 24 gives sound but the Linkflow is now picking up background noise from the car indicators and electrics so not really usable. Amplification seems to have failed.

Emailed Paloview customer service to ask whether Linkflow failed or can I reset it but no reply so far.

    Updated review 13 June 23

Given up with the Linkflows – 3rd unit spontaneously stopped working and couldn’t be found. Very neat unit just some kind of manufacturing problem with the chips inside I suspect. Bought a 1Mii Bluetooth 5.0 Receiver for Car on bass that I have 1Mii for analogue hifi which works fine so wish me luck

5.0 out of 5 stars Works a treat, appears well made but lost volume after 14 days

(The seller has contacted me and resolved the issue in a perfect way. So changing it to 5 stars).Unfortunately it keeps disconnecting every 2 minutes. Tried with several different phones but no change. Just keeps disconnecting every 2 seconds and therefore impossible to listen songs. Consider before buying.

Bought to be used in my car.
Connected in seconds. Sound quality and stability excellent
In my case the volume can be altered via the steering wheel controls, but not the skip track function. (Not a big deal)
Be sure to amend the Bluetooth settings on your phone if you still wish to have phone calls come through your car speakers
Adjust volume settings on car & phone to get best results (no hissing)
Some good tips in Q&A section 😉

I like to listen to Audiobooks whilst driving to work. My car only has a aux port. I tried a FM transmitter and found the background hiss very off putting. Then tried a cheaper Bluetooth transmitter and again found the quality less than satisfactory and connecting to my phone was temperamental.
This PALOVUE transmitter is totally different. Crystal clear sound which goes very loud if needed. Connects first time every time to my phone. Brilliant sound quality for my audio books, music and sat nav. Honestly don’t hesitate buy it!

This product has lasted me a very long time, and it performs excellently. Sometimes the music cuts out for half a second and then plays again, but it is not constant and does not spoil my enjoyment of this product.
    Overall, I would highly recommend

Connects to my MINI Paceman 2014 with no issues. Connects automatically as soon as you get in the car so I need to keep connecting again. Not 5 stars as sometimes it lags for a second, so it’s not a smooth music play. Overall happy with purchase.

As always being tempted with the Samsung z3 flip being foldable and the track record of Samsung handsets I’ve purchased in the last few years, the faults happened within the first two weeks Samsung (charging point now being a headphone jack, absolutely ridiculous idea!), I pay for Spotify premium and would like to play it in my 2012 bmw z4, a brand new handset costing a thousand English gold pieces should be able to last for longer than two weeks using a headphone jack, the company Samsung use to repair your phone are as reliable as Samsungs charging point/USB point. The foldable phone is still now a decent choice because of this product, I dont have to listen to that bozzed eyed ginger whiny tw@t on the radio, and my life has greatly improved by not having to listen to Ed sheeran and not have to sell my pride and joy because of a Samsung fault.

As soon as car has been started it says through the speakers “Bluetooth Connected”. This means that it has connection with your phone and.away you go! Always powered to the car’s usb so no battery or switching required. It’s brilliant. As good as any OEM system.
4 stars (not 5) given simply because you need a USB near the AUX due to the length of the part. Otherwise you will have to extend either Aux or usb via extension cable which is unsightly. On my Volvo they are together hidden in the centre console. On my old BMW I am installing a USB next to the existing AUX, again in the centre console because I don’t like unsightly wires. I will then buy another one of these.
Other than that, it is absolutely perfect!

Bought thia and a cigarette power adapter to replace the aux cable within my BMW as it is aux only. This is perfect, amazing sound quality and no buzzing or static. Just plug into your car, turn your phone Bluetooth on – connect and go! Also reconnects automatically when you turn your car back on. 5 stars

After reading reviews for various Bluetooth receivers, I was a little worried about audio quality and, in particular, unwanted background noise. But having used this, I can say it sounds great and there is no noticeable noise when running off the auxiliary power (via a usb adaptor) in my Toyota Avensis. Sounds to my ears equivalent to connection via 3.5mm jack.

Setup is a doddle. Plug into the 3.5mm aux audio input and into a usb socket for power. In my case these are both co-located in the central console (no more wires running through the cabin is a bonus). Comes with a longer cable for use cases where the two sockets are not right next to each other. The Bluetooth setup is very straightforward and, once done, the phone pairs automatic – very quickly – whenever the car is powered up.

Last thing to mention is the mic. For many of the Bluetooth receivers I looked at, the mic gets bad reviews. I wasn’t expecting much, but when trying a few calls today, people on the other end said they could here me just fine (with the armrest open, of course). Not a big deal for me as the car has Bluetooth for calls which works very well (just not for music, unfortunately).

All in all, an easy and effective upgrade for adding Bluetooth audio to a car without that functionality. Very pleased with the purchase.

I had this working in minutes and it does work very well.

But for ultimate sound quality, a wired connection will always be better.

Ideal for older cars that have a line input for listening to music though.

If you have access to usb/ cigarette lighter right next to Aux input, then this is as simple an upgrade as you can get for your car. No need to charge Bluetooth receiver. Compact, I hardly notice it.

    Connection is seamless.

Microphone works great, before people complained about hearing playback when speaking to them when connected to Aux through cabled connection. Now they say it is perfect audio.

    Highly recommend!

I bought this to allow me to play my Spotify playlists from my phone in my non-Bluetooth-enabled BMW. It works very well with a couple of provisos, none of which are the fault of this product. Whilst the Aux cable plugs into the existing Aux socket in the centre console, you cannot plug the Receiver into the inbuilt BMW USB socket, as this causes the car to treat the phone as a USB device and will only play MP3 files contained on the phone, i.e. no streaming allowed. To get around this, I had to utilise a USB cigarette lighter adapter to power the Receiver. Fortunately, the BMW has a cigarette socket in the centre console, so all wiring is hidden. I keep y stereo on the ‘AUX’ setting and my music now plays automatically.

Golden Review Award: 54 From Our UsersBought a BMW 520d 2013 (low mileage and in great condition) recently and although I could route calls through car bluetooth, bluetoothing audio wasn’t possible, so I turned to research and bought this wee gizmo, which did the trick!! Plug it in to my car and paired my iPhone to it quickly. Powers up very fast and connects super quickly. Sound quality is good.

    The bad:
I has a very annoying high whine noise when listening to maps directions and music from the device. I have no idea whether the device or my car is at fault.

I would like to add that whilst this product was not perfect for me I believe I was probably unlucky and got a rogue one with a fault.
The seller without me contacting them reached out to me and fully resolved my complaint to my full satisfaction and that alone is worth a lot of respec

Golden Review Award: 49 From Our UsersHave a really nice Roberts DAB radio which we use in the kitchen, but is about ten years old. I recently upgraded to an iPhone X, which obviously doesn’t have a headphone socket, so can no longer be used to drive the radio without a Lightning-to-3.5mm converter. I decided to go Bluetooth instead. This device arrived and was working in less than 5 minutes. It’s well made and sturdy and plugged straight into the USB socket on the front of the radio for power. It has a fairly short 3.5mm cable coming out of it, but ships with an extension that meant it could easily reach the AUX on the back of the radio. Connected and working with no problems at all. The only tiny issue I have is that my Roberts radio no longer goes into standby, presumably becuase it belives there’s always something ‘live’ in the AUX port. A minor issue though.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersSo if you’re like me and have multiple power points in your car (mine has three standard) with a concealed compartment that has both the main power point and the auxiliary point.

I love that i could have a bluetooth reciever nice and out of the way with no wires going anywhere it would be all tucked out of the way. But the problem ive had is the fact that most Bluetooth Recievers wouldnt power up and had to be manually turned on which involves me lifting my arm rest up to access the Reciever everytime i wish to connect my phone (i know first world problems but still…)

This Bluetootu reciever though works exactly the way i was looking for, im guessing since its in the form of a USB to the main power it powers up directly and automatically turns on the moment the engine is switched on. So that makes the Bluetooth automatically connects to my phone without me having to lift the armrest up.

If you’re looking for a Reciever that automatically turns on and connects the moment you turn your car on then this is the one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Connects the moment i get into the car, exactly what i was looking fo

Golden Review Award: 70 From Our UsersWorks perfectly. My Audi A3 only has bluetooth functionality for calls so when I upgraded my Galaxy S10 (with aux) to a Galaxy S21 (with no aux) this cheap little device solved my problem instantly. You can connect to multiple bluetooth devices at once on your phone so I still retain steering wheel functionality to answer my calls. I just use this thing as a media output, however there is a little built in mic that works well, if you need the call function.

Golden Review Award: 59 From Our UsersToo many reviews start ‘I don’t usually write reviews’ but in my case it’s genuine. Bought this for my ’09 which doesn’t have Bluetooth. Tiny thing, plugged one in USB the other in aux. Ample pairing with Android phone and just works. Turns off with ignition so doesn’t drain battery. Boots and connects almost instantly with no hassle or messing with phone. Audio quality perfectly fine. In some cars you might need a ground loop isolator but not in mine. Had other brands or these devices this is the best one I’ve owned. Fingers crossed for a long life. Very heartily recommended.

Golden Review Award: 53 From Our UsersVery happy with this product.I purchased this product after buying a car that I would expect to have bluetooth came with AUX only. I must say its been fantastic, I leave it plugged in all the time and it boots up with the engine and connects with my phone seamlessly. My only complaint would be there is a slight buzzing when in the higher volume range however I would have to have my audio at an uncomfortably high level for it to actually affect my listening. It is also smaller than I expected meaning it tucks away pretty easily and is mostly out of sight. Overall I’m very happy.

Works very well. I get a bit of a high pitch buzzing noise which is more obvious when the music is between tracks… I’m not saying I have dogs chasing my car, but it is a bit annoying. Other than that it works just fine 🙂

A great quality piece of kit, it is the size of a USB and plugs into a usb slot in my cigarette lighter and on the other end plugs into the aux slot. It looks like a wire and it is hard to tell that there is actually a bluetooth receiver built into it. I have had no issues connecting it. On occasion there is a slight static noise, however that is only if I have the volume up ridiculously loud, so I wouldn’t think it would be an issue for most people.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBest little thing I bought for my aux only bmw 520d e60. Instantly connects to phone every time within 1 second of engine turn over. I’m all set. Remembers phone every time. I now have Bluetooth in my car. Pairs so easily. I love this bit of essential kit. Buy it if you got aux only cars. Instant upgrade.

Edit. This device still connects every time but it’s started to crackle and loose sound until I plug it in again. Very annoying. I thought this would be the one to solve my problems. Also it won’t show car view in Spotify. Annoying. 1 star.

Golden Review Award: 63 From Our UsersThis device is awesome and highly recommended, excellent build and wireless bluetooth audio streaming quality. Simple plug-n-play straight into my wife’s BMW F11 USB and AUX sockets located next to each other under the central armrest. Easily Bluetooth paired with both my and my wife’s Samsung Note 9 and 10+ mobiles, reconnecting whenever the car is switched on.

Key point to note – our BMW has the built-in Bluetooth mobile function with steering control buttons for calls, but not the audio streaming option. On each mobile phone under the Bluetooth device configurations, you should configure the Palovue for ‘Audio’ only and the BMW for ‘Calls’ and ‘Contact Access’.

So the BMW mobile phone features continue to work seamlessly with the BMW’s integrated functions and Bluetooth wireless audio streaming now works via the Palovue receiver via either mobile which you’ll need to use your mobile touchscreen, Alexa for Amazon Music or Google for voice control.

Hopefully will attach some photos later.
