These glasses come with 3 transferrable lenses, Yellow, Blue and Smoked. All are of the same size and fit directly onto the bridge of the frame via a simple clip which then allows the lens to pivot upwards like a visor. Not really called up in the majority of the text but visible in some photos is a smaller lens which is an inner myopia lens This is meant to aid people with myopia, giving some slight magnification., they can be removed as they are clipped , in a different way, to the frame itself- note it des take some effort and I used a small flat screwdriver to ease it out from the clip aperture.
Construction of all lenses are clear and feel very substantial, the lens does wrap around the face slightly and the frame itself appears to be a strong, bendable plastic which shouldn’t break if dropped/fall of cycle. They do sit quite high on the bridge of the nose, which may be less suitable to many, as they may clash with some helmets or give some gap at the bottom of the lens. The arms curve inwards to give some side pressure to hold in place on the head, the coloured tabs do not appear to be rubberised or give extra grip so appear to be purely cosmetic. The style of the glasses themselves is basically functional only and whilst they are suitable tot he use intended, to may be that you may want something with more impact. A note for the case supplied, the other lens when not in use fit into this via lined dividers within, possibly this is meant as an add on, however it does feel less well thought out and doesn’t really do much for it.
These sporty sunglasses are well designed and can be used for sporting, leisure activities or just looking stylish. They are good quality lenses, being interchangeable blue, dark grey and yellow, allowing for different conditions. They feel secure and a good fit. The lenses are polarized, giving UV protection and once attached feel secure. The lenses once attached can be flipped up 90 degrees without removing. They come in a specially designed case for the whole kit. It’s a great package.
Recommended.
These glasses are a bit of a mixed bag, being good in some areas but totally missing a good opportunity.
You get a nice sturdy zippered pouch with the glasses and three interchangeable lenses. The basic glasses are comfortable to wear, although the clear lenses supplied are quite small. When cycling with just these they don’t stop the wind blowing into your eyes at all.
The clip on coloured lenses (yellow for night, two levels of dark grey/blue for daytime) provide better protection, although not that much more as they don’t wrap around. Convenient for when you transition from light to dark and you can just flip them up to see better.
I’d have liked the clear frame to be bigger, more wrap around, and the coloured frame to just provide protection from sunlight. Then they would be perfect, but as it is they are OK for activities where you aren’t moving fast.
A nice usable pair of cycling glasses. They performed as expected and kept the wind and rain out of my eyes and did not steam up. The frame is reasonably flexible and should stand up to a fair amount of abuse. There were no instructions supplied, but its easy enough to figure out how to change the lenses.
I was confused by the clear inner ‘myopic’ lenses as they didn’t seem to serve any purpose. However, these are removable, which was one of the first things I did. The 3 main interchangeable lenses just clip onto the frame, this is easy to do and the fixing is secure. Incidentally my set was supplied with one dark tinted and two yellow tinted lenses, but not the mirror lenses as advertised. The lenses are fairly rigid and perform as you would expect. The glasses are supplied in their own zipped storage case which offers good quality protection when they are not in use.
All in all a perfectly serviceable and versatile pair of riding glasses
I got these mostly for cycling to stop wind and insects getting in my eyes when I am flying along as supersonic speeds. They seem to be of good quality and are comfortable. The nose pieces are rubber which helps stop them slipping around due to sweat or rain. The ear pieces are just the right strength so they are comfortable on my head without falling off.
For me I find they sit a little too high on my face so I can see quite a lot below the bottom of the lenses and there’s a fairly big gap there at the bottom for wind and insects to fly in. Part of this will be that the lenses sit a little further away from your face mostly due to the additional space taken up by the extra myopic lenses you get, meaning the polarized lenses sit a little further forward than they otherwise would. The myopic lens is removable but the gap is obviously still there.
The lenses themselves seem to be of good quality and are easy to change. These aren’t the best fit for me personally but the quality seems to be good.
