First of all if your looking for a proper washing machine this isnt it ! its a sub 50 quid thing that does the essentials when your travelling and it actually does them pretty well. We paired it up with a dry buddy, bungee cord washing line and a travel steamer also from amazon and we were able to stay on top of a family of 4s basics for a week using about 4 loads a day. Its also great for the swimming costumes etc.
So when you get it out of the box, it pops up and you take the pipe out of the base and hang it on the side. The ideal location is next to the sink as you can then fill it and drain it.
Once the pipes secured on the side you then have an empty void that you fill to about 3/4 full with water (by jug !) and throw in a laundry capsule or some powder. I would suggest you give it a few mins of spinning so that the capsules burst and or the detergents in the water. Some people are complaining about lack of instructions as they are a poor translation to english however the prior is literally all you need to do.
Next you get either a 5 or 15 minute cycle, you put in some items which is in our case either a couple of kids Ts, one adult T, some smalls and socks or 1 dish towel size towel (no larger). It will not fit adult jeans, dresses or trousers. The 5 minute cycle isnt really long enough for it to work properly it does need a good 15-30 mins of spinning back and forth to get a decent wash however the 5 minute wash will spin dry your bathing suits and trunks pretty well when you come in from the pool.
Once its completed its cleaning cycle which is a little noisy maybe comparable to the windscreen wipers on the car you can then take the items out and rinse them off in the sink to get rid of any detergent on them. What we did is kept a little basin of laundry in that condition to one side. Once you get everything through lets call it wash one you can then drain most of the water out by just moving the little hose down to the sink and refill it with fresh water and some softener. Give the clothes just a few minutes now spinning away and then drain the whole thing again and wash the clothes off in the sink.
Now at this stage the thing does have a little spin drier you can attach inside which will work for pants and socks but its useless for things like a larger tshirt or towel. Its a lot smaller than the wash area so its a kind of added bonus if your doing really small items you can get them in it and get them part drained before you actually dry them.
We used this daily on a recent camping trip and I can say honestly that it will wash the basics and small items pretty well. Its not the same as your 90kg washing machine at home but it will take sweat out of tshirts and smalls and it will take basic kid mess off their tshirts to a good standard. You maybe need to run it twice on harder dirt etc but thats still quicker than your machine at home by far. The clothes do come out soaking wet unless your fortunate enough that they fit the little spin drier tub so you need to plan accordingly to dry them either as we did with something like the dry buddy or by hanging and expect on a typical day to wait 2 or 3 times what you wait on your normal washing machines output owing to the water saturation.
Storing its quite easy although annoyingly enough the little drum for the spin drier doesnt fit inside it when your travelling so you need to fit it in somewhere else.
All in if your going by car its pretty small and it does wash things so its a welcome addition to our camping setup that works no problem off our inverter and leisure battery. It will wash basic stuff and it will wash it pretty well once you get the hang of it. Its better than smashing away washing stuff in a sink by hand. I was putting it on and leaving it while I had a coffee or got washed on a morning and then hanging the stuff out which worked great all week and we came home with about half the washing we normally would come back with which was defo worth the pennies the thing cost.
This is a handy little portable washing machine. It works well and washes clothes and towels very well. The spin cycle isn’t fantastic but over all great value for money and very handy
his was a nice big size for versatile use and it held up great. i used it for delicates like bras and underwear. I liked that it is easy to store and compact too
This bag is just right for laundering my delicates in the washer. The zipper seems to be sturdy and well-sewn into the bag. The mesh is large enough to allow the water the penetrate the bag, but small enough that items with hooks and fasteners don’t get tangled up in it.
I have sensitive skin, so I want to buy a 2 in 1 9L intelligent laundry to wash my intimate clothes. I was surprised to find this portable mini washing machine with blue light. It is clean and reassuring, great!
I bought this mini washing machine for my underwears, the folding design is really amazing, it’s very compact. Looks good, it feels soft and comfortable. I try the foldable small smart laundry machine and I’m sure is really help me.
I bought this foldable small smart laundry machine with 3 cleaning modes for my baby. I didn’t expect it to work so well. I am worried about my son’s health, so have been washing our clothes separately, but using our big laundry machine is wasting water, and washing them by hand is very troublesome, now it is better, more convenient! Five stars.
