Who we are

Hi there! This is Dhara and Tony from Curious Monkey Games! We’re a couple from London who absolutely love board games and are the creators of Quiztimate, a brand new trivia game!

The story behind Quiztimate

Last Christmas, we were looking for a trivia game to play with family but we couldn’t find one that suited everyone… so we decided to level the playing field and invent a quiz game that anyone could win! Our other gripe with quiz games is the repetitive question/answer format, so we decided to mix things up with 4 rounds!

We played this game for the first rime the other day. There were 18 of us so we played in vroups. It was a lot if fun and the thing I particularly liked about it was, ANYONE can play, you don’t have to be super intelligent.

This is the perfect fun game to get people quizzing and laughing together. The rules are simple enough and it’s a level playing field as far as knowledge is concerned. The answers are anybody’s guess. Even the dog was playing. Definitely recommended.

This is one of the best games I’ve played in years. Thought it sounded a little complicated at first, but it was very easy to pick up and once we did we had so much fun. Found it hard to stop playing!! Played in 3 teams of 2 which worked really well. Highly recommend this game and I cannot wait for our next games night.

We love a game at Christmas and we like quizzes so this seemed like it would do. Having got older (and therefore obviously wiser!) the main problem with quiz games is there is a lot stored in my attic as opposed to my children in their 20’s so I usually end up asking the questions. This game turned that on its head as the answers to the questions are just estimates and guesses and it really levelled the playing field. The final round favoured those with good memories….oh how they crowed!
Thanks for the game, it has become a firm favourite (and doesn’t take anywhere near as long as good old Monopoly!)

Such an entertaining game. We played with a large group over Christmas and New Year. We play a lot of board games and this one was a bit difficult. Excellent.

I bought this game for my ten year old grandson thinking it would be a good game for all the family to play on Christmas day. We all really enjoyed it. It was easy to learn and good fun. It was refreshingly different from other quiz games. We played in teams of two and three which worked out well. Compared to other games I think the price paid was reasonable. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to playing it again soon.

A lovely, quick, game that doesn’t require any particular skill or knowledge. Initially played in a lounge full of people with conversations going on around us – it kept me interested. I didn’t have to sit around a table waiting for my turn, I didn’t have to engage brain to any great degree and it was quick enough that I agreed to another round.

Will happily get this out anytime to play.

Quiztimate was very well received, the idea behind it and the modernisation of a quiz game was great. The whiteboard and pens with it made very eco-friendly too. Great idea and great design.

Just the sort of game we needed because we have a wide range of ages in our family nobody was at a disadvantage. Lots of laughter and groans. Easy to understand. Would recommend

Awesome game! Very pleased with this game, bought to be played by my very competitive family over Christmas and it didn’t let me down. Unlike other quiz games it includes everyone from all generations and was really fun and easy to grasp. I would highly recommend!

We love this game!! We love that there are so many cards, too often we find there are not enough cards and you go through the game far too quickly and can never play it again but with this game you can just keep going.

This product is amazing! Have played it all over Christmas and new year with family of all ages. The questions and answers are so far away from anyones general knowledge, it creates a level playing field for all. Will be buying more for family members as gifts!

We bought this for my son as a Christmas present and had great fun playing it. The questions are really interesting and the variety of different round formats keeps it fresh. The only thing I would say is that our (grown-up) children run rings around us since you need to have a good memory for the last round!

The games was so fun to play and all ages can play it . It was hours of fun and kept the entire family 8 to 73 of age entertained for hours.

Listening to the adults calculating the answers were so funny .

You need this as part of your board games

This game is awesome, we played it with my family and we had fun, it’s one of our faves now . There’s so many cards to play and the different rounds are a good idea, makes it more interesting and can turn the game around completely. Gets better with more people playing. I’m gonna try this game with friends and I’m sure it’ll be good fu

Got this game to play at Christmas and it was enjoyed by all. Plans were changed this year, due to Covid, so instead of a large family gathering, there were just 3 of us. I needed a game that 3 or more could play and this game was perfect. A 20 year old and 2, 50 year olds. We all loved it and played again boxing day.

I bought this game to play with the family at Christmas however Covid restrictions meant we weren’t able to meet up. I have opened it and it looks well made sturdy. I have read the instructions which were easy to understand and the game looks as though it will be fun and suitable for all the family. I am really looking forward to playing it when l can eventually see my family again.

We bought this game so we could avoid sitting around a table and this seemed an ideal choice – and it was. Because it is not based on ‘knowledge’ all of us, from the youngest to the oldest, was on equal terms – and on at teast two occassions our youngest won. We had fun, we had a laugh and we played it multiple times during the day. I would fully recommend this game to anyone who enjoys getting together as a family….

We played this game on Christmas evening. There were 3 generations of us between the age of 11 and 61.
It was the type of game that didn’t, matter what your age was but it got us all discussing the questions and making good guesses. It was also very competitive. We thoroughly enjoyed it. I am always looking out for good games to play as a family and this was top of our list this yea

We played at a Pre-New Year party and it was great fun. As it was the first time we played it took a bit of time to explain the concept to our guests but once they got it, we had great fun. Playing in teams of two I think helped create a good competitive atmosphere and lots of laughs. The final round really makes i5 8nteresting as all the teams remained involved.
Overall I would recommend it as some of the questions really generate interesting debate!!!

As the markers of the game say they needed to find an intellectual stimulating game but one that would work well with a crowd in a party and this game is perfect for it. Uniquely balancing the competitive knowledge element, with a more fun party element so everyone can take part. The game quality is very high with the pens and eraseable boards. The lateral thinking questions are excellent really stretching your thinking and stimulating discussion. Ultimately though it is at its heart a fun party game. Would recommend it to others and it is well priced given the high production quality. Expecting this to be on the amazon best seller’s list for a while!

It can be so difficult to have focused family time with everyone on their phones but we absolutely LOVED playing Quiztimate and spending some quality family time together!!

Quiztimate is full of humorous and interesting questions that the kids (12 and 10) had a lot of fun answering! It was great to see them so engaged and learning at the same time. Quiztimate is great at getting the children to think and having 4 different rounds helps them to think in different ways.

The game is also quite compact and not too heavy so we’ll definitely take it with us on our next holidays!

Quiztimate makes you really involved and is perfect for curious minds – you need to think before you put any random answers. Plus you don’t need to KNOW things, common sense will work in many cases.

I liked that there were different rounds with different rules to add variety to the game.

There are a lot of interesting questions and facts and it tests your ability to think logically, but in a fun way 😀

The game can also be played in teams or individually so you can play in small or big groups.

Finally, the quality of pens, boards and cards is very good so you feel it will last.
