SEEWORLD i1 GPS Tracker GPS Tracking Device for Vehicles Car Personal Dogs Motorcycle 4G LTE Real Time Tracker Small Portable Global Coverage IP65 Waterproof Magnetic Installatio
I recently purchased the SEEWORLD i1 GPS Tracker for my vehicle, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Setting it up was a breeze; it took me just a few minutes to get it up and running. The instructions were clear, and the device itself is quite intuitive to use.
One thing to note is that the subscription for the tracking service is not included, so you’ll need to purchase that separately. However, once you have the subscription activated, the tracker provides real-time updates with pinpoint accuracy.
The small, portable design makes it easy to conceal, and the magnetic installation feature is a bonus. Plus, the IP65 waterproof rating gives me peace of mind knowing it can withstand various weather conditions.
Overall, I highly recommend the SEEWORLD i1 GPS Tracker for anyone looking for a reliable, easy-to-use tracking device for their vehicles or even personal use.
The important thing to realise about this tracking device is that if you want anything more than where your vehicle is right now, then you need to sign up to a subscription. Depending on how long you sign up for, the cost per month varies from $12,99 (pay monthly) to $5.28 ($190 3yr upfront payment).
It comes with a charging cable, pre-installed SIM card, small screwdriver and instructions. You can use any SIM card in this, since it’s there just for the GPS signal and you don’t need any credit/contract on it.
You do need to download and setup an account within the App. Having done that, you scan the QR code on the back of the tracker to register it. The whole process is relatively simple. The App keeps track of where your car has been, currently is, battery level, etc. It basically uses Google maps to do most this.
This is a good device and easy to setup, but for me personally, it only really works if I pay the subscription. Maybe better suited to businesses or expensive and/or high risk cars?
I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.
Good made tracker at good cost but subscription cost is very steep considering alternative options . There is no information on subscription cost before item is acquired and set up .
Tracking is good once its set up and has good security features and easy to navigate .Has a good built in battery and still going since I installed it .
Some might be put off by subscription cost but its
Great product and works as it should
I got my hands on this GPS tracker, excited to have my very own personal “tracker” like the popular AirTag. However, my enthusiasm was quickly dampened when I realised this device wasn’t quite what I expected.
Unlike the AirTag, which offers a seamless experience with no additional fees, this GPS tracker requires a subscription. And there was no free trial in sight.
Now, I’ll be the first to admit that this was partly my own fault. I should have read the product description more carefully before ordering.
Unfortunately, without a subscription, I wasn’t able to fully test out the device and provide a detailed review of its performance.
I will still give it 4 stars as it was my own fault, but please don’t mention it needs a subscription at the end of the product information and say how the subscription prices are.
I got this GPS tracker to add some security to my 1973 vw beetle. It is a fantastic device that lets me track the location and movement of my car in real time, using my smartphone or computer. The tracker is small, portable, and easy to install, thanks to the strong magnetic attachment. It works with 4G LTE network and has global coverage, so I can always stay connected to my car. The tracker is also IP65 waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof, so it can withstand any weather and road conditions. The app is simple and user-friendly, and it allows me to set up geo-fences, speed alerts, history playback, and more. I am very impressed with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to protect their vehicle and have peace of mind.
The unit is reasonably small considering it has a 3000mAh battery built into it. I am sure it could be smaller if they compromised on the battery life, but to be honest, I think they’ve found a happy medium between it being small enough, whilst at the same time having a battery that has sufficient capacity to last over nine days on a single charge.
The device requires an app to work, which I downloaded from the Google Play store. It was simple enough to install. I didn’t encounter a little glitch whereby it sends a code to your email that you have to enter within 30 minutes. I entered it within 2 minutes and it said it had expired. Fortunately, when I requested a second code it worked fine.
Registering the device with the software took just a few seconds. The app comes up with a QR code scanner, and you just scan the QR code on the device and it will then connect it with the app.
To use the tracker there is a subscription to pay, which works out at $14 or less per month depending on how long a subscription you take out. It is a big shame that they don’t allow for a trial period to test out the device as without paying up for the subscription you really don’t have a clue if the device even works. Something like a 7-day trial would have been much appreciated.
The device is pretty light at 123g, which is good as I am planning on using it in briefcase rather than in a car.
One thing I am not sure of is whether it works abroad. I think it does, as the specifications seem to indicate an ability to operate on various different phone networks.
