This is being used in my car as an organiser rather than a bin and is serving this purpose well.
I previously used a small tray to keep all my camera accessories in my car e.g. cables, memory cards, power bank etc. when going from one location to another.
However, I found that, although the bits were in one place with easy access, taking them out of the car would require me to individually stuff them into my pockets/backpack.
So I was keen to try this Car Bin Organiser by seOSTO.
This organiser arrived in a simple box along with a bottom plate and a roll of small disposable bags which are always handy.
While travelling I clip this organiser on the passenger side door to keep all my camera accessories. And when I get out of the car, I just slide it into my shoulder bag/backpack.
A slightly larger version that could accommodate a tablet or a Chromebook would be useful.
If this organiser came with a small carry handle and a small magnetic flap to cover the top to help prevent spillage, the price would be justified.
My Suzuki Jimny does not have very big door pockets, this car bin has given me a little bit extra storage space, it can be used as a bin and comes with a roll of small plastic bags but for me this is going to be used for storage.
It looks well made and will open out to a slightly larger size, hooks over the edge of the door pockets with two large clips that hold it quite firm so will not fall off when opening the door.
I’m impressed with just how aesthetically leasing this is. The artificial leather is a very accurate and convincing. It has flawless detail in the stitching. I’ve dropped one star as it isn’t as rigid as I’d hoped. It’s structure is support by a flat stiff insert that sits at the base. So the top of the vessel limps inwards a bit. It doesn’t make it any less useful but if there was a way to design that out it would massively improve its structure.
It clips securely to my car door. There’s no chance of it dropping off.
This set came with two. I’m only using the one but bith are of equal quality.
