I was a little concerned having to use an overlay for the keyboard. I suppose I could just learn to use the layout as supplied but it is a super idea to make this SGIN 17.3 inch laptop more accessible to all languages.
Having used it now for two weeks I can honestly recommend this bit of kit. Windows 11 is the home edition not the cut down Microsoft app only version and it is all the better for that. The screen is clear and the ssd hard drive is fast and effective. At the price from Amazon you can’t go wrong. If the 17 inch is too big try the smaller screen sizes I am sure you will find just the right unit. On the whole this is a good lightweight laptop and I recommend it.
Honestly I see it’s been given bad reviews but I’ve had no problems and it does everything I want it to do I use it for work gaming and for the price great quality
The issue I had was it did not come UK plug but got another adapter. Getting to work was issue due Windows Bug, so had go into Bios and recovery the laptop. That worked with no issues. I am using for basic excel and few other programs which work fine. The overlays for the keyboard works fine and stays in place. Overall I am happy with the laptop and time will tell how long it lasts.
I wanted a cheap reliable laptop. This fits the bill. can be live wired to TV via mini HDMI cable. easy to set up with the right cable. ( mini HDMI male, normal size HDMI male to fit into the TV).
I’ve gifted this to my nephew for his college work as he said his old one was too slow. I set it up for him. First of all, the screen is very large so it’s easy to see even for me. Colours are good too as I played with it for a while. All the updates were installed fast with no hassle at all. The mouse pad thing works well. He’s delighted with it and loves how fast it is compared to his old one. He also tells me that he likes the large amount of storage he has available now.
Anyway, I found it very easy to set up, fast and quick to to respond when I turn it on. Keyboard is sensitive so be careful with mouse pad as its very reactive. Keyboard is american BUT laptop comes with about 6 skins for different countries, to cover keyboards, which is great and makes keyboard easy to see even under bad lighting.
Love the 15inch screen, easy to navigate and overall very pleased with laptop, hoping it lasts longer than the HP I got from Currys!
