When I was fed up with pain on my hand using a mouse. I don’t use my laptop a lot. Still I decided to find a solution. Small size, not fancy. It is what I have now.
Bought this mat as a replacement for my previous one which was long overdue. The price of the mat for the quality was great. The size itself fits fine on my desk and it stays perfectly in place even during heavy gaming sessions. The stiching quality on this is also very nice, it will last a while if proper care is given, washed it once and the quality remains the same as new.
Lovely splash of colour on my desk. Mouse mat is just what I was looking for, which was thin with a material finish and colourful. Some reviewers report it slips but I haven’t found that to be the case.
I stopped using mouse mats a very long time ago when optical mice came out. I purchase a expensive mouse for some CAD work that I was doing and noticed that it was hard to get the very fine detail that the mouse had been designed to do. I did a bit of research and spoke with the manufacture and found. The manufacture advised the issue was because of the surface the mouse was being used on. So on their advise I purchased a good quality mouse mat. Just like magic the mouse performed fantastically. Every day is a school day
I have bought several of this type item and this one is great although it still slips on my table. I think it’s because I am heavy handed, I may have to nail it down….lol
I am a old person and need one that does not move….lol

I’m not gaming like I did years ago, now more city builders/rts so I can’t comment on its flick shot tracking etc but as a tidy looking/simple “standard” sized mouse mat (as a 80s/90s kid!) – this is absolutely spot on & for the price cannot fault it.

This mouse pad is seriously fantastic.
The anti-slip works super well on my gloss desk – no sliding about, the fabric surface is great, allows the mouse to glide around very smoothly and the seams feel like they’re high durability and dont roll up or stick up awkwardly. The dimensions are great for a small work area — not too large, not too small
Big plus is that it’s waterproof?! Spill your coffee? No biggie, just wipe it off, and it’s good as new.
Overall, the quality is top-notch, sturdy, and doesn’t seem to be throwing in the towel anytime soon. The price is sweet, the thickness is just right, and the rubber backing keeps it in place. No funky smells, just a solid, no-nonsense mouse pad that gets the job done
I have been left really surprised by the quality of this mat due to the cost, it feels great and my mouse works perfectly over it without any issues. I’ve tried a few different mice too and each seem to work the same. It’s comfortable to rest on and big enough that you’re not finding half your hand sliding off when moving the mouse (that’s if you’re like me and have a fast tracking speed on your mouse).
I saw a couple of reviews about the smell when the product first arrives, however I haven’t found this to be too bad. There was an initial smell however that seems to have faded within a few hours (you could leave it outside to speed this process up).
Overall, very happy with the quality and would buy again if I ever need to, as the quality looks good, strong and not easily worn.
The mouse pad itself is actually really nice to look at. The rubber weave on which the mouse rests is an attractive deep black colour, and the colour is entirely even – something that has been a problem with previous products I’ve tried. The stitching on the side is mostly even and is a wonderful innovation, as it means the edges don’t get worn like on a standard mat. I also like the solid white logo displaying ‘TeckNet’ as well – it’s not fussy and it doesn’t need to be, providing a nice colour contrast.
In terms of using the mouse pad itself, my Perixx mouse glides wonderfully over the material and enables accurate gaming and work use. I love how the stitching also provides a tangible physical barrier where the edges of the mat are, meaning it’s easy to detect without looking. The size is also brilliant, though possibly a bit large if you are on a smaller desk – it will happily fit adjacent to a laptop with no problems, though. Thankfully, it also remains completely still even during heavy use, at least on my wooden desk.
One minor gripe is that after opening the mat itself, there was a rather strong smell (no doubt related to how the rubber has been treated) which is quite heady! This is easily fixed, however, by leaving the product by an open window for around 30 minutes. It smells totally fine now, and I can’t wait to use it more.
Edit as of 20/06/20: I still use this mouse mat daily—and after 2 years of heavy use—there are virtually no signs of any wear. The mat still functions perfectly and looks good. I now use a Logitech MX Master mouse, and the surface has no problem keeping up with the responsiveness of this high-end product.
