This telescope is exceptionally easy to assemble (it took me around ten minutes) and is very lightweight. It is a great starter telescope to motivate children to develop an interest in astronomy. The instructions as to how to assemble the telescope and how to operate it are very well written and illustrated, and straightforward to follow.
The telescope comes with a 10mm and 25mm eyepiece. It is recommended to commence with 25 mm. In addition, there is a phone adaptor to enable you to record on a smartphone.
Unlike most telescopes, this one is easy to disassemble and it packs down into a compact case with carry handle. Very highly recommended.
The telescope arrived safely in a very strong box. Inside there’s a canvas type holdall with everything secured inside with Velcro straps.
The actual telescope feels pretty lightweight. The tripod is sturdy and stable.
I’m hoping that this will encourage my grandchildren to explore the skies.
Seems good value for what’s included and considering the excellent packaging.
