You pay for quality. I bought this as a gift and I’ve been told that it’s lovely. I couldn’t really justify buying this for myself, but it makes a great gift.

Gave as a gift to a friend, it was good value and the bottle is very fancy. He was very happy to receive it. Unfortunately I can’t comment on the flavour!

This is one of my favourite gins! It pairs really nicely with a fever tree mediterranean or elderflower tonic. If you like The Botanist you will be sure to like this. If you’re ever in the Lake District actually going to Lake Distillery is a fun way to pass a rainy afternoon.

Among the many new small distillery gins now available, this stands out. It has a soft purity to it (is it the local water perhaps?), a hint of citrus, and paired with a good tonic and a slice of lemon is sheer bliss. I tried it at first with Fever Tree Mediterranean Light, thinking that an Indian Tonic with quinine would overpower it. Not at all. The opposite in fact, it was fabulous. I suggest a premium Indian tonic though, not Schweppe’s, which is a bit heavy footed. Of the many different gins I own and restock, this is easily in the top 3. It looks lovely too on my gin trolley..a beautiful designed bottle..10/10

Initially bought a bottle when I visited the distillery in the Lake District . Lovely place worth a visit .
The gin is very drinkable and when paired with a good tonic water it is one of the best I have tasted for the price . Some gins have far too many botanicals in , this has it just right. Well worth a try

We visit the Lake District often and have recently visited the distillery where this is made. The company and site are really interesting and they also create whiskey. The gin though is lovely and I purchased it as a birthday present which went down very well. The bottle looks very sophisticated and the gin taste is clean and smooth.
