I’m pleased to say I bought this instead of the quest elite strap.
And seeing all the bad reports and call backs I’m very pleased I bought this. It extends the play for a good 3 -4 hours. Although it drains the quest battery after the head strap has depleted. Very pleased. However I have noticed the ratchet to tighten the strap to the head sometimes clicks and slips out of its grip. Something to monitor.
I looked at loads of these to replace the stock one. Honestly to God don’t hesitate, this makes it so much better. It’s made my quest so much more fun to use as its more comfortable and secure when looking around. Can’t say how good the battery is yet as I’ve only used for an hour or two but it deffo kept my q3 charged.

seems everything is fine, apart from the battery.
goes from 100 to 0 in 10 minutes, then stays on 0% for 15 minutes?
same other way, 0% to 99 in 10 minutes
99% for 15-20 minutes.
seems i have a duff battery
ordered a 2nd headset sending 1st one back.

2nd headset battery is fine, also the seller offered refund without sending old one back too

Not so great is that the battery will not keep the headset charged fully when using it. Also the battery capacity is not stellar. Furthermore, the colour of the plastics is slightly greyer then that of the Meta Quest 3. And lastly, the strap lacks a button to stop charging, so you’ll have to disconnect it if you want it to stop draining, even when the Quest indicates that it is full.
And of course, the headset is not quite as fixed on the head as with elite-style headstraps, but it works just fine when playing active games like Pistol Whip.
Some drawbacks, but still four stars because it is so darn comfortable. Will personally not be looking for another strap.
