Ordered to wear under dresses postpartum to help nip me in at the waist again. The material is very long. It is comfortable. Wore for 6 ish hours. Helped me feel more confident again in nice clothes.
It took me a while to get this on. It’s much quicker if you create the initial loop and step into that, rather than try to thread a looooong length of thick elastic through a loop whilst holding it around your waist! And then it seems to wind round and round forever…..
Wore it on and off for a couple of days, but wasn’t sure what I made of it and was going to give it a very low rating.
Then this morning I changed my mind. I needed to wear lumbar support today, and the smaller of my appliances specifically for that wasn’t hitting the spots. I needed to get out for work, but couldn’t put my hand on my longer one. Then I spotted this……
So I wound myself into it again, and could immediately feel the benefit of it. The only issue I had was that after a few hours it started to feel too tight and as if it were digging in at a few points. But it didn’t cause any problems, so it’s definitely a great back-up for this purpose.
Have had these in the past and find they work great.
Sadly there are no instructions included in the bag it comes in which may make it difficult for people who haven’t used similar designs. So maybe an instruction leaflet would be a good idea.
It offers a good amount of support for the back while training.
When worn, I find it improves my posture too.
Over all it’s not a bad product and made using good quality materials plus it’s reasonably priced. I would recommend but be aware it may take time to get use to and you may have to go online to look up how to use it.
As I have never used a waist trainer before, I found it a bit annoying that there are no instructions included in the simple bag this product comes in. Therefore I had to come online and find the description and instructions. It took some trial and error but managed to fit it to a comfortable level. You need to wear this under some baggy clothes and, while it does offer some back support, I would not wear this for many hours or everyday. Not a bad product, good quality but takes some getting used to. Worth a try as price is also decent.
The waist trainer arrived in excellent condition in a poly bag.
No fitting instructions or wearing guidelines were included, the only thing in the bag was the waist trainer itself. There is some guidance on the product listing page, but it would be better if this was included with the product itself for convenience. However, I won’t knock a star off for this.
The trainer is 4m in length and is like a thick belt. There is a loop on the belt. The user threads one end of the belt through the belt loop to form a loop in the belt itself to step into. If this doesn’t make sense, see picture two of this review.
Step into the formed loop and pull the belt up to the waist area. Then wrap the remaining belt around the middle area of the body and secure with the Velcro. The belt is really good quality.
I haven’t yet worn this daily to ‘train’ my tummy, but I might do this in the new year and update the review if there are any noticeable slimming results. I have however worn this as shapewear under thicker winter clothing (I’m writing this review in December). It does a great job at making my tummy area look trimmer, and it’s actually a lot more comfortable to wear that shapewear. It also provides very good back support.
In regard to wearing it day-to-day under clothing, while this works well under thicker or casual loose fitting clothing, I think if this was worn under fitted clothing it would be noticeable. Admittedly I don’t wear fitted clothing due to my body shape so I can’t test this as I don’t own any fitted pieces, however I’m not confident it wouldn’t be noticeable.
In summary, the product is very good and well worth the money in my opinion.
Unsure of the actual cause of my stomach bloating, whether it be my liver or GI tract.
Either way, this product definitely helps to force your stomach to a better shape, which seems to have helped reduce hunger as well as fluid desire.
I think over time this helped flush out my system.
I gave this product to my wife to try. She was very disappointed that there were no written instructions or guidance as to how to use the device. However, after a few tries, she finally successfully got to wear it.
She has worn it during the day for the past couple of days and says it is comfortable, to the point of her forgetting she was wearing it.
The product would merit five stars with proper and full instructions
Quite a nice item. The trainer is very stretchy and once velcroed in it is very secure. It’s quite easy to start wrapping yourself, However, It’s a lot easier when you make it a two-person job! The first time we used it we definitely wrapped it too tight and the fat went above and below the wrapped area, creating a dumbbell shape.
Through a bit of trial and error, it’s easier to find your flow to wrap comfortably and efficiently. The wrap is also quite adaptable and can be used around the hips, waist and chest areas.
The fabric is quite soft and super comfortable to wear. It is definitely obvious when you’re wearing it under form fitting clothing. So I would advise wearing it under quite loose, baggy clothes.
A word of caution; I don’t think the trainer should be used for long durations. After a while, it can get uncomfortable. However, short-term use for a few hours feels perfectly fine.
I’d say results may vary in terms of its slimming effect, but it’s definitely worth a try for yourself!
I had to dock -1star for the advertising, there is no way I am wearing this under clothes to work. It’s a good quality product, well stitched and strong Velcro. However, although you could wear to this in a casual environment, it’s not invisible (especially if you’re shorter than 5’5), as you have to wrap it around several times and it clearly shows. It comes with no instructions (hope they update their product images to show how to use it), but you have to loop one end through, then start wrapping. I looked like I was trying on a kimono the first time & got myself tangled. Keeping it stored pre-looped makes it faster to use repeatedly. I liked the wide bands – good for avoiding rolling of the fabric. A good product if you’re looking to belly wrap or post partum, but 4 stars only because of the claim that it’s invisible under work clothes. I value 100% accurate advertising in products I am reviewing. But good product overall.

Packaging is adequate for a 4m long elastic strap, its quite complicated to put on alone without help but managable, seems to be holding nicely releives back pain if suffering from overweightness but the straps seems to be quite catchy on other pieces of clothing over it. be careful when putting on flannel type clothes over it as it can easily get caught and strip a line from it. Seems solid enough to hold throughout the day.
The quality of the fabric is of the better kind that possibly wont fray on the edges like some other brands.
Overall an okay product but only time will tell if it lives up to its claims for slimming.
Having never used a waist trainer before I was quite disappointed that this item did not come with any instructions as to how to fit it. I thought that it was one larger piece that velcro’d up the back (because I did not follow the link to the full description) so imagine my horror at opening the packaging to find a long thinner piece of fabric and no instruction as to what to do with it!
I went back to the listing to look at the photos and try and make sense of it.
Once I had worked out what to do with it, it did fit very well – with a good strong hold. It takes a lot of getting used to the sensation of being bound so tightly about your abdomen. You cannot do anything but sit up straight whilst wearing this.
I tried a few yoga poses and sit ups – all easy to do whilst wearing it (even though it felt like it would be impossible!)
You need to do your research on the use of a waist trainer, as wearing one too often can apparently cause weak core muscles.
I think that this waist trainer is good value for the retail price as it is very strong and well fitted once on. I will likely use it under clothing when I’m wearing something fitted as I have had a couple of back operations and cannot risk my core muscles becoming any weaker.
Was a little unsure if this waist trainer would work for me as it’s a wrap around but I love it!!
It’s so easy to put on, much quicker than the ones with buttons/zips and I can tighten or loosen when required.
Nice thick material so I feel supported when working out (also could even double as a back support lifting weights) but still sits great under my clothes.
