Great little gadget. If you have certain types of USB flash drives (eg ones with a light on) or other devices with a USB type A (flat) connector, they draw too much power from the phone to be used directly with an unpowered adaptor. This device allows you to use them by connecting your normal charger (lightning) to one port, and the USB device to the other simultaneously. Plug the other end into the lightning port on the phone and you are good to go.
