I put off buying one of these as assumed the term ‘frier’ meant I would get greasy food from it!! Once I was educated I went out and bought this one. It’s perfect for single person, as long as that single person is not too hungry! Oven chips are a LOT nicer in it and yea it’s quicker. It will save me a lot in terms of electricity but if I wanted to do fish cake and chips, I would need to do separately then one would be cold by time other part of dinner was ready. Ok if only cooking one component of your meal in it.
Would have been a lot better to get some kind of guide with it for a newbie. Has illustration on lid showing several items and temp and time but for instance the potato could just as easily have been a ciabatta roll ( still not convinced it is a potato !
This little air fryer takes a bit longer but still gives great results.
I have a few items from Von Chef. They are a great make.
I use it for most things.
Not used the oven for some time.
It cooks frozen food and fresh food really well.
Halloumi bites from frozen, bacon, sausages, tomatoes which come out like they’ve been on a bbq.
Don’t submerse the whole pan in water when cleaning as it gets into the handle somehow and takes ages to dry out.
I would recommend this air fryer.
Fits neatly into a corner on the work top and can be left out.
