I think toy developers intentionally make the toys our children love the most the most irritating and frustrating for us adults. This elephant (christened “Ellie”) is one of my four month old’s most beloved toys. She smiles as soon as either myself or her dad bring her out to play. She will throw her around, crumple her ears, try to bite her trunk. She loves her. We adults, however, think she is the neediest elephant this side of the savanna. She demands hugs, says my daughter is her best friend. She’s incredibly pushy, but my daughter loves her I just wish she was more tolerable for us grown ups!
This is a well-designed children’s toy that will keep little ones entertained for hours with its numerous songs and phrases. This will be perfect to take away on holiday or even on the pushchair, it has two volumes which is great and comes complete with the battery that it needs to work.
The elephant boasts textures galore, from crinkly ears to a bumpy trunk, keeping tiny fingers and mouths happily engaged. The glowing heart adds a touch of twinkling magic, especially engaging in dim light. It creates a sweet little sensory spectacle that fascinates my little explorer. The built-in rattle adds an extra layer of auditory fun. Shaking the elephant brings a playful chortle of sound, encouraging little ones to explore cause and effect. The built-in songs and melodies are cute and catchy, ranging from nursery rhymes to animal sounds. My baby loves bopping along, and even I find myself humming along sometimes. The size and softness of the elephant make it a perfect cuddle companion for my little one. The quality of the materials used is evident, and the overall construction feels durable and safe for baby play. But I’m withholding one star as the volume could be a bit overwhelming, especially in quiet environments. A volume control option would be a welcome addition to cater to different preferences.
This toy has quickly become a favourite for its combination of music, lights, and textures. It’s perfect for sensory development, teaching basic numbers and phrases through cheerful songs. The rattle beads are a great addition for auditory stimulation. Its portability is a bonus, making it an ideal companion for outings.
My baby finds this elephant toy absolutely captivating. It’s not just a toy but a delightful learning experience that introduces numbers and feelings in a fun, engaging way. The mix of songs and melodies keeps playtime both entertaining and educational. Shaking the toy to hear the beads rattle is a favorite activity, offering auditory stimulation. The soft, huggable body and crinkly ears are perfect for little hands to explore, adding a tactile dimension to the learning experience. This toy is a wonderful blend of stimulation and learning for my baby.
This is a fun joyful elephant comfort toy with musical interaction with sing along songs , melodies, different textures and sounds, ideal as a toy for a Pram , push chair , play pen or as a comfort toy for babies and toddlers to hold and play with.
A little smaller than expected but the easy to use design makes it easy to press and activate music , sounds and will encourage baby to play and learn at the same time.
The elephant design is cute and adorable, with a soft feel , colourful and easy to press buttons, it also feels really well made and durable, the elephant theme is a really good choice , a nice nature design and fun and interactive sounds that will help with learning and skills development as well as being a fun comfort toy.
This is a cute little elephant toy with soft plush head, arms, and legs, and a hard plastic torso with built in electronics. A yellow star shape in the middle of the elephant’s tummy illuminates when activated and this sings and talks, offering one of over 40 songs, melodies, sounds, and phrases when the star button is pressed. The toy’s ears are made with crinkle fabric lining for a noisy/textural sensory experience, and there are rattling beads built in to a little panel in the elephant’s chest.
This speaks with a British rather than American accent. For me, a couple of the phrases seem a bit cringe-worthy (“Hello Cutie Pie, I loooove you!”), but on the whole this is nice enough. There is a three position switch on the front of the elephant’s torso with settings for off and two different volume levels.
The elephant has a webbing loop at the top for this to be attached to a stroller/baby gym/cot – though does need a clip to do this.
This is powered by a single AAA battery, so not prohibitive to run, and a starter battery is included (this is in contact with the electronics on arrival so will be drained to some degree)
Dumbo-like in nature, with discretionary large adorbalenears, big eyes and the cutest trunk.
This cute cuddle plays a rather impressive 40 sounds. The texture of the cuddly is a soft velvety fabric which is free of lint and loose fibres.
The voiceovers are spoken by a native English speaking single individual – a young girl.
The Only Niggle:
We found that the press button when triggered, tends to play a series of chimes too frequently and this sound has not become quite grating and annoying for us.
There are two volume settings which is great. There is also a handy little velcro strap that we can use to secure the cuddly to the pushchair in order to keep it safe.
The elephant’s ears are crispt textures just to add some variety to a littlenone who normally investigate with their mouth. The elephant’s belly 8s made of hard plastic. The arms and legs and made of stuffed fabric, as is the head.
Overall a very cute and engaging little cuddly which is loved by the little one. The sounds selection in this one could have been better.
