How to set up this 4g lte cellular security camera?
1) Download Ubox APP from Google Play or APP Store.
2) Insert the Nano-SIM card into the correct slot.
3) Power on the camera and Reset the camera, wait for the led indicator turns blue.
4) Use UBox App to scan the QR code on the base of the camera.
What countries is the EU Version of this 4g lte security camera available for?
This 4G Camera Solar Outdoor is a EU Version that is suitable to use in the Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Spain etc. Other countries may not compatible.

I recharged the sim card, camera still offline, why ?
Please turn off the camera, pull out the sim card,install it again, and then turn the camera on to see if the camera can be connected with mobile data. It is to reactive the card as it was out of service before you recharge it.
Can I use a different SIM card?
A Nano SIM card is included which includes 300MB of roaming data and you can also use SIM cards from Deutsche Telekom, AG, Vodafone, O2, SFR, Orange, Bouygues, TIM, etc.

The camera delivers very good images and is easy to install. Unfortunately, our camera stopped working after about 5 months. After contacting xegatech, they quickly offered to replace it. After 4 days, we received a completely new camera. At this point I would like to thank Kiki from xegatech Support for the quick and friendly support. Thank you very much 🙂

This is a great security camera; it has a lot of fabulous features you would expect with a more expensive camera at an affordable price. Set-up was quick and easy, with very clear and concise instructions. Even someone who isn’t great with technology (like me) could set this camera up with ease.
The image quality is very clear, even at night, and there is a nice wide viewing area. I really like the motion sensor; it is very sensitive but not easily triggered by the stray cat or billowing shrubbery on a windy night. That helps prevent all of the false alerts that can drive you batty with most motion sensor security cameras.
One of my (many) favorite features is the fact that it is solar powered! That makes it very cost efficient, and I don’t have to worry about constantly recharging the batteries. It even works great here in the UK, on cloudy days.
Overall, I am very happy with this camera. The quality and functionality of the camera and the app are fantastic, and very easy to use. It helps provide peace of mind when I am away (or in bed), and also lets me know who’s at the door before I drop everything to go answer it .
Ideal when we were having break ins down our allotment without WiFi or power. Now we can watch and keep an eye on our plot. Very handy with the solar panel that keeps it charged up.
Solar powered, 2K/3MP. motion detection and night vision, all brilliant features. It’s well made, but note no WIFI as it’s specially designed for places that is off-grid.
It comes with a sim card, and 300M data is for test purpose, shame you have to pay monthly fee for a data plan but it’s a must in the farm.

One of the best security cameras I’ve ever seen.
The instuctions and the video is really helpful installation is really easy.
It detects people and sends you notifications. The greatest thing about this camera is that it is suitable for places beyond the wifi range, it works with 4G and sim cards. It also has night mode. There are two night vision modes, with IR vision and with color night vision.
They both are really clear.
The image quality is great. The solar panel and battery, makes it more useful. It works non stop you dont have to worry about anything it even works in bad weathers.

The camera has a size that is not exaggeratedly large. Made entirely of plastic it feels quite robust. It is designed to be installed in areas without light or wifi access.
Its design is similar to other standard cameras with a charging port for the battery and an slot for a memory card. But above all it stands out for the other slot to insert the SIM card. And the solar panel ensures that the battery always has enough life. This panel is small, but even in low sunlight it indicates that it is charging and the battery level does not drop too low. These last two features allow us to install the camera in isolated areas so that we are not dependent on access to mains electricity or wifi.
With the camera we also receive a SIM card and the web to recharge it with data, which is not a bad price.
The app works well and the controls are relatively fast, although this will depend on the quality of the mobile network in the area.

I a having issues with receiving good-quality images and responses from my garden camera due to the
weak WiFi signals, so I decided to try this one which comes with a SIM card, honestly I am impressed by the connection quality which has low costs.

The build feels right in terms of the quality and just gives you this idea of long lasting. Tee solar panel seats on sturdy metal frame and the rest of the camera keeps up with it. SD card slot is protected from outside conditions with rubber covers and under the main camera arm (extra protection). Functionality and operability are good too. So nice when you can just turn it on and start using as it has build in battery. Great!
Very impressed with the build quality it feels and looks solidly put together. This is just what we needed to cover our large rear garden. We have a WiFi camera on the front of the house, but couldn’t do the same for rear garden due to the shape of our garden and the camera having to be situated off of the house to cover our garden workshops and rear of our house, thus leaving us unable to use wi-fi as it would freeze or work intermittently. This solved all our problems. Very happy.

This is an excellent piece of kit and as long as the solar powered panels keep it charged properly, this could last me for years. I like that it doesn’t need the Wi-Fi to send a signal from the camera as we struggle with Wi-Fi around the outside of our house and this camera is for a busy walking area. The installation was easy as it’s really just a few screws and plugging a wire in. Positioning of the solar panel is important for the maximum battery storage. I’m really hoping it’s as waterproof as it says it is. Importantly, the picture quality is very good both during the day and at night. The SIM card works within my current data plan, but if you have to purchase a separate 4G facility, that is an ongoing monthly cost. The app is quite good, but it did take some getting used to.
This looks and feels just the part. I’ve had a similar type of product before and this comes across as very good quality and build.
I’ll have to update this review once it’s fitted. I want this in my horses stable, just because sometimes I want to look at him! I’m probably going to get 999 notifications on my phone with him moving around, but I’ll work that out when I’m fully set up. I can’t get anyone to fit it for a few weeks so don’t want to rig up the app and sim card just yet – theres 300mb for testing.
I think the screen resolution will be appropriate for the data – too high and it will use too much data. I dont think it will be able to view numberplates at great distances, but if you want to see who was last out and didn’t close the farm gate – this will help!
I want this so I can see what time my horse is in and out of his stable, and also check on him generally. Also I like the microphone function.
The instruction manual is in colour and looks comprehensive even if its just say 10 pages – see images. The unit can be set to have active and sleep times too, which is really handy.
You can see in the instruction manual there’s lots of options for changing the resolution and viewing real time images.

The app may be a little confusing to begin with but okay for someone tech savvy.

The Xega 3G/4G LTE Security Camera is a great bit of kit! We have CCTV cameras all over and wiring them up is a pain! But this Xega one was simple to install and having it own 6w solar panel with 10000mah battery installed means it can go anywhere you can get a mobile phone signal!
The Camera and Panel are really well built, very solid and glass covered solar panel which won’t degrade in the sun. Setup was a bit tricky with the UBOX App but once done you can view the cameras images quickly and easily, and with 2K picture quality things are nice and clear too!
Definitely worth buying if wiring is a problem.
This camera is brilliant for any area that has a 4g signal, and no access to WiFi.
I got this due to our orchard that we’ve got, that was our of range, from our WiFi, and to be quite honest with you, it does a far better job than the ones that are linked to our WiFi.
Build quality of this 4G cctv camera is fantastic, and contains high quality materials, unlike some more expensive ones that I’ve had in the past.
You get everything that you’ll ever need in the box, with my only gripe being is that I wish the cable was longer from the solar panel, or had an extension cable in the box.
Picture quality is great, and clear, with a few minor delays every now and then, which is expected to happen since its running on a 4G network, and this issue, doesn’t happen nowhere near as much as it does, as my cctv cameras that’s connected to my WiFi…. so all in all, a far more stable connection.
Now as this is 4G, it will cost you a monthly premium and I’ve managed to get 6gb of data for only 3 a month from one network company, so I’m happy with that.
Definitely worth buying, especially if you’ve got no WiFi access, and you need that security in that area.
