All the fittings were present and ok.
A word of caution to anyone not used to plumbing detail. You are tightening a metal tap on to a plastic fitting_ the black part. Remember that the plastic is soft ,so it’s very easy to overtighten and ruin it.
Great set that comes with everything you need even leek tape so you can make the joints waterproof. got this to convert a tank for my veg garden into a waterbut. Works well no leeks and works well for filling watering cans but also for attaching a hose to. very pleased and a nice set that does what it says it will.
I had a choice of 1/2in or 3/4in and chose the larger as it is easy to adapt downsize and the extra flow in a larger pipe helps with the pressure in a hose for micro-watering systems. Recycled IBC containers are quite easy to come by, I just make sure they orginally contained ‘plant safe’ contents such a food stuffs, rather than oils or chemicals that may leave residues even after washing.
The kit comes with the tap and washers needed and seems good value to me.
