I refer those looking for reviews of the mouse’s performance to those written by Michael Cameron and Angela. It works fine, I am very happy with my purchase, and I would buy the mouse again. I have no complaints of it at all. For the price, it is a bargain, IMO.

I got fed up with my laggy wireless mouse making using my PC such a pain. Purchased this basic mouse in the hope of a better experience. It has more than met the expectations. The mouse is lightweight, accurate and above all responsive. Other mice may have more bells and whistles but this one is more than good enough for most end user needs.

A perfectly good mouse, and the person it was bought for describes it as “absolutely fine”.
Not anything more to say. Good value. Not used for gaming, or anything fancy.

I looked for a very long time for a replacement for the classic WMO and I wasn’t expecting for find it in an Amazo Basics mouse but it’s pretty much as good!

Buy 3 before they inexplicably stop making them like Microsoft did.

Very basic (but that is what I wanted), still working perfectly after a long time. It is comfortable to use and it looks good. Probably not the very best mouse for latest gaming (I don’t use it for gaming) but it certainly offers a good value for money.

Bought back in June 2022 and it’s lasted me over 2 years, unfortunately it passed away on Monday evening after doing that really annoying thing where the pc thinks it’s right clicking when really it’s left clicking, read online and it said the only option is to get a new mouse so that’s the end of this one, it’s pretty good to say the least had some decent memories of it

Using the mouse daily because this is preferred to the laptop’s trackpad. The only drawback is the rather long wire, which could easily be shorter in production. Nonetheless, good value for money if you need a basic mouse which performs to a reasonably good standard.

I got this as a replacement for my “working from home” mouse, which had developed a phantom right-click problem, which was severely impacting my productivity.
This mouse does the job but is noticeably smaller than the last one I had (a Logitech B100), and I’m still trying to get used to it. The buttons are quieter than the last one as well, but are pretty responsive.
However, I don’t have very large hands and this seems very small (my palm doesn’t sit on the top of it in normal rest). When in use, I either have to move my hand up to rest my palm on the top of the mouse, or move my hand back to be able to click the buttons. It seems like it is more intended as a spare mouse for laptop users who need smaller accessories, than someone used to working with any larger mice in a normal office environment.
For the price, it does what it needs to do. However, for anyone with medium/large hands, it would get uncomfortable trying to use it for extended period due to being unable to rest your hand on it and press the buttons at the same time.
I will be more diligent on getting the right size of device on my next purchase.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersI didn’t expect to ever buy a wired USB mouse again, having disposed my last few ones quite a few years ago. But all of a sudden I found myself desperately in need of a friendly-priced, trustworthy mouse as due to the virus I’m not allowed to go back to the office and pick one up there. This Amazon basic type does what it says on the tin and looks reasonably sturdy. It also has a scrolling middle button.

There are perhaps a few small downsides; first of all, I’m not sure if it’s really an ‘ergonomic’ mouse. It holds perfectly fine, feels fairly light and looks very much like the less expensive Windows mouses from the 1990’s. But I wouldn’t say there are ergonomic benefits as the listing text suggests. Also it has this “Amazon-basics” label printed on top, so that everybody can see that you didn’t want to spend money on your mouse. I would stress that I don’t mind these small issues and they are justified by the very acceptable price. Moreover, for me it was quite a relief that it arrived quickly and that it could be put into action swiftly in a plug-and-play manner.

My mouse-problem started when the firm decided that I have to work from home now on a shift basis. A welcome change of daily routine it seemed to me.
But then the actual challenges emerged. They’ve only equipped me with my laptop that I can strictly work from. Apparently it’s a fairly high-end laptop with touch screen, but frankly, I always hate to work on it; the resolution and screen-width are below my and most modern standards. So I have been slouching over my tiny laptop keyboard and mediocre-resolution screen for a few days, quite a tiring, claustrophobic experience. But what makes it even more frustrating is the touchpad control and the lack of a mouse to quickly swap between windows and apps. And without a mouse I’m not able quickly transfer information between applications very quickly and effectively.. aside from constant frustrations this really slowed me down.

So this part of my working from home challenges was quickly and very satisfyingly solved with this traditional but very effective mouse that I would simply recommend; it is basic but good and appropriately priced.
