I really like this stand, have bought many different styles I’ve the year and now I’m wondering why I always swiped past this one, plenty of adjustment, sturdy build and great price what’s not to like..
Sent a previous make back as too small but this one from Amazon Basics is bigger for my laptop, great adjustments, sturdy and non slip. Always check the sizes before choosing a stand as they can vary quite a lot. A great buy.
Ordered this to raise the height of my laptop screen. Works well, easy to use, no assembly required, very light. I can raise the height slightly to use with the laptop keyboard, it can be raised higher to use with an external keyboard. Overall pleased with this purchase.
I love using this as it elevates the screen and keys on my laptop, making it easier to work. I especially like the simplicity of it and the fact that the laptop can ventilate itself properly, since the vents do not get blocked with cushions or blankets, meaning there is less chance of the laptop overheating. Great purchase, now to get it off my wife!

I bought 2 because I have 2 laptops which get quite hot while busy with work or playing games. The lowest setting (folded) is enough to get air underneath and it can be put almost 90 upright.
My hubby is working from home, and in the last few months, he started to feel severe pain in his back muscles. The doctor advised him to keep the laptop screen elevated for a healthier body position. And it worked! This stand did its job, and we are very happy with the purchase.
This is brilliant. I brought it for using with my Lenovo legion 5i slim gaming laptop, It makes the viewing angle of my laptop much better and I am not bending down to look at the screen. Typing is in an easier position too. Would never use my laptop without the stand again. The mesh makes great airflow to help prevent laptops from overheating. 100% recommend.
The SD card port doesn’t get blocked by the up-stand at the bottom.

Bought this stand for a gaming laptop that was running a little hot. The stand is big enough for a 17″ laptop, solid and secure, and the mesh design allows good airflow and heat dissipation. The steel construction also allows for magnetic fine mesh dust filters to fit next to the laptop air intake.
Our desk has a glass top but for white melamine, wood effect or indeed fine wood, you might meed to consider a small modification to protect the desk surface – note this is not a fault and there are no rough edges or such like but I would not want to push a heavy* black metal object (*laptop + stand) over such a surface as it might mark
