I got this case for the original Nintendo Switch for when I am travelling and I am glad I did. It can easily hold my Switch, joycons, USB charging cable (Not the plug) which was my main purpose as I have digital games BUT to my surprise it can store ten physical game cards as well which is a big bonus for me so I took a few of these as well.
The case is strong and durable and gives your Switch extra protection I’m not sure I would risk 2kg of weight on the case as advertised but at least now I know if it is the boot of my car or in a bag I don’t need to worry about it getting damaged. I like that the case has a handle which makes it perfect for carrying.
Overall I am happy with the Switch carry case.

Our switch fits without issue and this provides basic protection and allow us to store games with switch when not in use.
It’s not fully rigid and compression proof but provides a good level of basic protection.
A relatively cheap way to provide basic protection and worth a look!
I have seen other cases selling around twice the price of this, but this one is definitely good enough for me.
Some other cases are only suitable for Switch Lite, or Switch, not the Switch OLED. This one is able to hold the OLED (thus also holds the smaller Switches) and still has room for accessories.
The case is definitely hard enough to withstand drops and knocks, with the zips quite smooth to open/close easily
There is not a single thing I don’t like about this case, maybe it will be better to have a built-in charger?
Having got this case for my handheld gaming device, which is not a switch but identical in size – although I reckon you could get something slightly larger in too. I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of it. Outer layer is padded thick enough that you have complete peace of mind about leaving your device in there regardless of where the case is kept. It’s quite tanky. There are some compartments too that offer space for memory cards and what not and there’s enough room there that you could put other accessories in too as it is generously spacious on the inside. Personally I like to put some wireless earbuds in there as well as cables needed, these are all things which I use together with my gaming device so it’s great for organisation too to keep them altogether in the one place. And nothing is getting lost any more because it’s all nice and tidy in this case. The zips are also very easy to use. For the listing this case is fantastic value.
Works well for switch and spare set of controllers. The memory card slots are good and hold them securely.
My only gripe is that the elasticated bands that hold the Switch in place snag on the controllers when you take it in and out. Another way of securing it that wasn’t quite so prone to catching on the elastic would be nice.
Looks smart and inconspicuous and has a nice feel to the case.

Is a well made, nicely designed, and versatile bit of storage.
I am not using this carrying case as a case for a Switch, or Joy Con.
I do not even own either of those things, and I don’t intend to in the near, or far future.
Nope.
Instead, I am using the case for organising and storing my growing collection of audio adapters, cables, and DAW accessories.
You see, I am currently setting up my own DAW (Digital Audio Workstation – an electronic device or application software used for recording, editing and producing audio files.) and home studio.
I do not have much space, and I am converting my old computer desk into the studio, which requires lots of creative, and alternative storage and setup solutions.
Like putting the monitors on swing arms off the desktop, so it frees up the desktop for a couple of keyboards, with one on a riser, so they are two tiered, for example.
So I need some unusual storage for accessories, and adapters.
This case will be perfect for small adapters, and cables.
It has many wee bits and pieces to it, making it versatile, and roomy.
It has clever leaf folds giving it layers, and book like leaves that can flip over to reveal more storage compartments.
It has so many little storage tricks, and places, it is perfect for my alternative needs.
And it could be the perfect storage for you, with a bit of imagination, and creativity, it could sort out your collection of mini dinosaurs, or your Hungarian stamp collection, or your… you get the idea.
It is pretty rugged and will take some punishment.
It is large, and roomy enough for a load of kit.
Not only that, but it is water-resistant, scratch proof, and cushioned to protect the contents.
It is also fantastic value, at just over ten quid, you would be hard pushed to find a better case at a better price.
I really like this case, and I am happy to recommend it highly.

Betron Shock Proof Switch Carry Case – compatible with Nintendo Switch and Switch OLED. It is a spacious case with loads of space to store you game cards and other cable you may need.
The zipper is working well and the case offers protection to the display and for the whole Nintendo Switch to some extent.
Pretty good case for the money. It’s not the highest of quality but it’s decent enough.
Pros:
Looks sharp
Easily fits in my backpack – looks very similar to the type of material my Bose headphone case is made of.
Designed well to compactly organise everything as shown
Quite confident it will protect my Switch from an unexpected drop (but I’m not going to test fate!)
Cons:
Construction isn’t spot on – some stray threads inside that seem dodgy. I can’t tell if they will continue to unravel (pics).
Whilst the zipper itself works fine, the zipper handle seems cheap and thin (see pic). Very thin – hope they won’t break off. YKK zippers are the gold standard for practically everything for a good reason – they are durable and almost impossible to break.
Conclusion – given the quite low price and well designed layout and ability to protect, I can’t complain about it. If it were any more expensive it would be three stars.
