BuTure VC70 Cordless Vacuum
BuTure VC70 stick vacuum cleaner with Auto & Manual Modes and Soft & Stiff bristles integrated brush, meets more cleaning needs.
I didn’t think I’d write up a positive review of a cleaning appliance, but but in comparison to my last corded vacuum this really is a pleasure to use. It’s easy to put together out of the box, the parts click together in a satisfying way (though I find the brush head proves a bit tricky to pull apart from the extending pipe), and actually makes the chore of cleaning the carpets enjoyable.
It’s a lot quieter than I expected too, which is nice. My last vacuum cleaner, a corded upright Bissell, was noisy and more awkward to use and using it was a chore. This Buture cleaner is by comparison so much easier to use. It’s fairly lightweight, easier to manoeuvre reaching under furniture, easier to empty the dust, has good enough battery life on a full charge for me to clean the whole house top to bottom. I actually look forward to my cleaning days. Overall I like it, and even though it took me a little while to make the decision, I think I made the right one.
The tools supplied are a great slender crevice nozzle – perfect for awkward corners and down between cushions, a short ‘upholstery’ nozzle with a brush that can be clicked down if required – this nozzle is perfect for sofas and also stair carpets I find.
The main tool is a floor head with a powered rotating brush. This is extremely effective and I found it worked excellently on hard floor, carpet and rugs – easily picking up dust, hair and bigger items (even from where I thought was already ‘clean’! – the transparent dust pod shows just how much is being collected). The brushes in this head are dense but soft and are not in the usual spiral layout – instead they are formed as wide ‘V’s that get combed inside the head as they spin. I’m amazed at how this doesn’t seem to get tangled easily with long hairs – something that other cleaners always seem to suffer from! Brilliant! Another neat feature of this head is the inbuilt LED headlamp array on the front. This lights up the surface being cleaned and makes it easy to spot where you have missed. You could even clean in the dark if you wanted!
All of the above nozzles/head can attach directly to the main body – perfect for enclosed spaces such as car interiors – or can use the very sturdy metal telescopic extension tube supplied. This has many adjustment stops and will extend plenty long enough for even tall users like me (6’4″) to comfortably use this cleaner without bending.
Having now given this cleaner a thorough test during the Christmas period (it’s great at picking up pine needles!), I am also impressed with it’s performance. The supplied battery has enough charge from full to clean a whole floor of our typical UK 3-bed semi and whilst not as powerful as a mains cleaner, it is still really effective and is far more convenient and user-friendly.
Also worth pointing out that it comes with a hanging storage bracket, spare filters (which shouldn’t be needed for a very long time), a charger and a nifty tool for cleaning the heads if needed.
Well – I never thought I could write so much about a vacuum cleaner, but this one has impressed me sufficiently to warrant it!
I hope these comments are useful!
The cordless feature makes it very convenient, allowing me to effortlessly move from room to room without being tethered to an outlet. Not sure about battery life but managed to clean our flat on one charge. Being sure that I can tackle multiple tasks on a single charge — perfect for those lengthy holiday cleaning sessions.
What sets this vacuum apart, however, is the built-in torch. Cleaning nooks and crannies has never been easier, especially during the late-night holiday preparations. The powerful light illuminates even the darkest corners, revealing hidden dust bunnies and forgotten ornaments under furniture. It’s like having a cleaning assistant and a guiding light rolled into one!
The suction power of this vacuum is remarkable, effortlessly picking up everything from crumbs to pet hair. The various attachments make it versatile enough to handle any surface or cleaning challenge, ensuring a thorough and efficient clean every time.
The sleek and modern design adds a touch of sophistication to my cleaning routine, making it almost enjoyable. Plus, the easy-to-empty dustbin makes maintenance a breeze.
I wasn’t certain about it as an unknown make but I thought it worth a try.
It arrived a few days earlier than the delivery date which was a good start.
Very well packed in a protective box.
Unpacked, assembled and working within five minutes. Arrived with 65% battery so ready to rumble.
Its very light in weight but looks to be well made and robust.
Comes with a very comprehensive selection of add on tools which covers hard and soft floors, narrow spaces, crevices and an extendable tube to allow cleaning up high and on the ground too.
First thing I noticed was how quietly it ran compared to the older Shark machine which was always a bit noisy. This machine almost whispers.
I like the way you can use the vacuum head both with or without the extension pole. Makes it easy for doing stairs and car seats and carpets too.
Nice touch to provide spare filters.
I expected that I would need to use the higher suction settings (there are three) but it comes on at level 1 so I tried it at that level to start and the result was actually impressive. It picked up all the flecks from the carpet and crumbs from the tiled kitchen floor.
I find it very easy indeed to steer the vacuum head around obstacles, just a flick of the wrist changes direction effortlessly. Its really easy to use. Its easy to see the dirt you are looking for thanks to the six powerful LEDs on the front.
Battery life is quite good, similar to the Shark, if not better especially on the lower suction levels. Its enough to vacuum the whole house on housework day which is what we really need.
This machine is all you might need in a cleaner, lightweight, efficient and easy to use.
My only criticism might be the tiny charger, its only 0.5w and so it takes longer to charge up the battery than I’d like (the Shark is no better) I would have been happy to pay a bit more and have a better charger.
Fortunately the useful mounting plate which holds the machine on the wall together with the tools enables the battery to charge in the machine whilst its hanging up so its always charged and ready to go.
It says a two year guarantee but the paperwork with the machine offers three years which is a bonus.
