Cabin Max Anode Carry on Suitcase 45x36x20cm Lightweight Hand Luggage Suitable for Easyjet Under Seat (Seville Orange)
Bought these to avoid needing the hold on some of the airlines. These fit pretty much all airlines (check yourself though) and are surprisingly spacious as there is an inner lining you can also zip open.
The wheels work smoothly and the bright colour range makes them easy to spot. Good value too.
Used this on EasyJet flights as this case is the recommended carry on size, one under seat and one overhead: under seat fitted perfectly but maybe not giving much leg room for some or on a longer journey. Case holds more than imagined and rolls easily. Very happy with purchase.
It’s a perfectly light and small suitcase. But it can carry a lot! I used it to put my personal items in and it had enough space for all I needed for an 8days trip. It could be taken on board and placed under seat in easy jet and vueling (the only two I tried so far), but I’m certain other airlines will allow it too! Except the colour that I didn’t expect, everything else is as good as the adve
Lightweight & so easy to wheel around! I was worried it wouldn’t be big enough for a 2 night city break in London but it was perfect. Handle slides & clicks into position easily and it was SO much better than carrying a heavy shoulder bag or rucksack around! Would highly recommend. Fits Easyjet hand luggage size restrictions
So far so good. The case itself is light so even with it being densely packed, it felt light enough to carry up and down stairs/bus/train etc. the wheels felt smooth, although I have a feeling it might not last for too long. Time will tell.
Oh, I recently got the Cabin Max Anode Cabin Suitcase for all my short-haul flights, and honestly, it’s been pretty good. I’ve been using it mainly on budget airlines like Ryanair and easyJet, and it’s been perfect size-wise. No issues at the gate or having to jam it into the overhead lockers, which is a massive plus for me.
The wheels? Smooth as butter. It’s such a breeze to navigate through crowded terminals. Plus, it comes with a combination lock, which adds that extra bit of security and peace of mind. I opted for the black one, and it’s a great colour – looks sleek and doesn’t show dirt easily. Inside, there’s plenty of room for all my stuff, and the zip flap on one half is brilliant for keeping everything organised.
But, it’s not all perfect. The suitcase does have a tendency to tip over a bit too easily, especially if I try balancing another bag on top of it. A bit of a nuisance, honestly. And while we’re on the subject, the lock feels a tad flimsy. It does the job, but I wouldn’t mind if it felt a bit more robust. Lastly, I really wish there was a handle on the side. It’d make lifting it into overhead bins and pulling it out so much easier.
Overall, though, it’s a solid choice for anyone who flies a lot with budget carriers. Just might need to keep an eye on it so it doesn’t take a tumble!
Just came back from a weekend trip to Scotland. Very suitable, very sturdy and I was suepr happy with it. Loads of room in the bag. I was a bit nervous of the wheels but they were fine well able to handle the coble foot paths ect. I was very happy with it and love the colour. I didn’t use the lock just a heads up I never bother with them for short flights, just a heads up.
The size of the bag is absolutely perfect as per Ryanair requirements. It’s also light and has spacious. The only downsides are that the handle feels a little flimsy and the lock never worked for us. The lock wasn’t too much of a problem for us for what we needed.
The case is super sturdy, the fact it’s on 4 wheels is super helpful to get around a busy airport, the handle has different levels so works for all heights. The case fits perfect within cabin allowance measurements and tucks perfectly under the seat, as shown in pics. The colour selection is amazing too. Definitely recommend!
Very well made compact suitcase which compiles with the majority of budget airlines as a carry on language. Despite its small size, I was surprised how much stuff I was able to fit in. The only downside is its stability while pulling it and the length of the retractable handle, which could be a couple of inches longer for taller people as I was unable to walk straight up as I was pulling it along the road (I’m 193cm tall). For average height people this would not be an issue.
Recommended product!
Used last week for the first time. It’s easy to pull along, not used 2 wheels before but ok. I was able to pack for a week using roll up travel bags, squeezing the air out, then packing in sausage lengths. I chose this as the back has a pocket. This was ideal as I used it for my books, water, passport (bought the RFID with side zip for cash & cards, so doubles as a purse). So if your only allowance is underseat, EasyJet, this little extra is perfect, so no more going in & out of the case itself!
Brilliant suitcase, for the size dimensions you can fit in a lot of clothes! Highly recommend for short weekend breaks that you want to save 60+ on a extra suitcase. I will say you NEED packing cubes if you like to pack a little extra but overall great sturdy suitcase!
We bought the ‘Easyjet free carry on’ sized case, back in 2021. It has served us well on a few flights since and apart from a minor scuff, which is inevitable on air travel, it is still in great condition.
However, we did experience a problem on a train journey to London with this item. It was a minor problem, but it did need attention. I contacted Cabinmax via the Amazon messaging portal and the customer service I received was excellent. Their communication was great and they sorted out the problem very quickly.
I won’t go into specifics, but we are more than happy with how Cabinmax resolved our issue.
I’ve seen a recent review where the reviewer said Cabinmax customer service was poor, but on close inspection of that review, it appears the person may have been trying to claim a refund on a used item which had no manufacturing faults. They just didn’t like it! I think that is unfair.
I am confident that if you find a genuine fault with your case, Cabinmax will deal with it properly.
I bought this bag for my flights with easy jet and its the perfect size and it carries loads of stuff. I love the inside zip and pockets to store away your bits and bobs.
This suitcase is absolutely fantastic for travel, thank you very much. It’s really lightweight and so easy to pack all you need within. It’s has excellent manoeuvrability, which is so useful at train stations and airports; I felt it so easy to move about quickly with this suitcase. Also, the fact that it is so lightweight is incredibly useful at customs and when lifting on and off racks on trains and coaches. This suitcase arrived quickly and was packaged really well, thank you. I would definitely recommend purchasing this item to others; it is available in different colours as well.
Thank you very much. Mrs Julia Priestley, KIngswinford.
If you’re looking for a nice little case which’ll satisfy Easyjet and seems to work well – then this ticks all the boxes. The finish, quality and looks are all great; the “spinner” works smoothly (better than one on my larger case made by a well known international manufacturer). Only 4 stars for sturdiness because I’m a tad less confident about the extendable handle – feels a bit rickety but OK so far
BUT
It was not what I ordered. I urgently needed a small “spinner” case to satisfy Easyjet – but I require my luggage to have a combination lock. . I chose this case because was clearly described as having this . The one which arrived did not have this feature. I thought it was a mistake at the despatch end and Iraised the issue immediately through Amazon. They passed my complaint to the suppliers who asked for a photograph. I was travelling didn’t have time to take pictures and couldn’t see need for it. That was 3 weeks ago. Haven’t heard from them again.
So as I say, I’d recommend the case – but be aware that the service might not match it.
I bought the 2 wheel case for an Easyjet flight with under the seat luggage only. I do have a rucksack by Cabinmax for this purpose which is excellent but wanted a case for this trip, so thought I’d go for the same brand.
Super lightweight case, easy to pull along and manoeuvre. No problems with fitting it under the seat. Nice bright colour, clam design with an inner divider that zips up to hold your clothes in that side. Handy outer mesh pocket for things you might need quick access to. Had a slight plastic smell when unwrapped so left it to air before packing. I’m hoping it will last, it seems substantial enough and has already survived lots of walking over cobbles without the wheels shredding.
I was away for 6 nights and with careful packing, I had easily enough clothes and accessories. I used some packing cubes to help keep the case organised (also by Cabin Max!) and cram a bit more in. See list below! The only thing I couldn’t fit in was my fleece and my coat, which I wore onto the plane and then put in my tote bag on arrival. And obviously, I wore a set of clothes for travelling . I also bought a t shirt while away and snaffled the free slippers from my hotel which took the place of the snacks I’d eaten
