It’s a brilliant size that fits really well across the screen. Tucks nicely under the wipers.

Its quilted so seems to provide better protection than the typical plastic covers.

Overall really impressed with the pure quality of this one, didn’t realise there was much better than the plastic ones but goes to show you get what you pay for. 5/5

The cover is thicker than others that I’ve used in the past, and is slightky padded. It is black on one side and reflective silver on the other. The stitching is of good quality.

This windscreen cover is slightly larger than the window on our Skoda Karoq. It extends far enough for the end pieces to be trapped in the two front doors, ensuring that it remains taut against the windscreen.

I ordered this during a cold spell but we haven’t seen any more frost or snow in the time that I’ve had to test it. There’s no reason for me to believe that it wouldn’t perform well in both snow and extreme heat.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality cove

I’ve had a a few of these over the years and they vary in terms of quality and longevity. This one is the best quality I’ve had as is nicely padded and stitched. Another nice thing is that it can be tucked inside of the doors so it won’t fly off in the some of the more windy and wild weather we have here. Highly recommended

I went for the larger size. It fits my van perfectly well. The bottom tucks under the wiper blades and the two lapels tuck inside each door. The finish is very high quality with a reflective layer on one side and quilting and insulation across the cover. It has poured with rain for the past week so I haven’t yet been able to properly test it in the frost, but I have no doubt that it’s up to the job.

Almost a perfect fit for my 2012 Astra, it’s wide enough to cover all of the glass with a 1-2cm surplus either side, however it fits against the windscreen snugly and was very easy to fit.

Feels like good quality material, if you have a narrower windscreen, you’ll have a lot more spare on each side… not really a problem as you can just pull it tight and tuck it into your doors.

I will update after the next frozen morning to assess its effectiveness, but I’m confident it’ll stop my windscreen freezing.

Edit: Stood up well under the couple of inches of snow that we got last night, and has weathered (hehe) the recent freeze (down to -5c) well. There was a small bit of ice under it when I got to it in the morning, but my windscreen wasn’t completely dry when I put it on, so there would’ve been some condensation regardless. Really pleased.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good coverage of my 2012 Astra.

True to form it has poured with rain since receiving this which I ordered after a week of heavy frost.
Still, this is northern England, it isn’t like I won’t get any use out of it.

I have test fitted it to the car and it is spot on for my Smart ForFour, don’t let that put you off, despite common perception the car is much larger than most imagine and I would expect this cover to be suitable for most small to mid sized family cars.

The manufacturers does state that it is suitable for use in all weathers including rain so perhaps I am being a little unfair in waiting for it to get cold again before using, but as rain isn’t something that will prevent me driving away immediately I’d prefer to put the cover away cold but dry (ish)

A nice touch is the side panels that tuck into the doors to secure it to the windscreen, my old cover was basically a tarp with straps, this looks and feels more secure and hopefully, like a motorcycle cover, will serve as an added deterrent to any opportunist thieves.

I wasn’t sure what size to order so i went with the larger size and i’m glad i did as it not only fits my old Zafira but also my sons Mercedes.

It is very easy to put on. First you need to try and dry your windscreen if its wet as otherwise its just going to freeze under the cover.
Place one side flap in the drivers door and shut the door keeping it in place then do the same the passenger side making sure to pull tight. Secure the cover by placing the windshield wipers over the bottom of the cover and that’s it, not too much faff.

Since the cover has been delivered the temperature has risen so we’ve not had a frost yet to test it out with but will report back with results when we do.
Can be used in summer for a cooler car so if we have another scorching summer again next year i’ll give it a try.
