I like to use a good oil in our car as it’s either being driven 2 1/2 miles to work by my wife or I’m thrashing it up the motorway! Not an easy life for the engine. Buying 5l (as opposed to 4l) is enough for a service and gives a litre or so left over for topping up. It’s a useful saving too, and was delivered the same day I ordered too, so win-win!
It’s oil. It’s made for certain engine types. If you have the correct engine for it, I can highly recommend this.
Has my 2008 Audi S3 (8P2) running nicely.
Handy size to keep in the car boot, for regular top-ups.
Not without reason is there a self adhesive label under the bonnet of every VW, SEAT, Skoda, Audi recommending Castrol edge. This is the only oil I use for my car, my wife’s car, my mothers car, my son’s car etc etc etc. You get what you pay for.
Love this oil! Perfect for fish or chips and even occasional curry. Its quite expensive so more an occasional treat than anything else but you cant go wrong with Castrol, low cholesterol and fats.
