This is the second time I have bought it because it works very well without making holes in the wall and you can do it yourself without needing help and it supports the weight of the painting.
I had a light wooden painting that kept bringing the ‘nail’ out of the wall and plaster with it because of the gravity pull. Bought these and attached easily to painting and then wall. Weeks later it is still looking good. Much cheaper than getting in a shop
Bought these as a trial to hang three pictures in frames on a wall that isn’t particularly sturdy. I love these stick on grips as they worked exactly as described. I used the large ones and they were a great fit on the back of my photo frames. Better than having a nail in the wall.
I have used thse for A3 pictures so far and they are brilliant. I have pictures up in my nursery and also on my stairs and they have been up for over 2 months now and not come down. I would recommend these and will be buying more
I bought these strips to hang a couple of canvasses on a upvc conservatory wall, as obviously couldn’t use picture hooks. I followed the instructions and they have stayed up with no issues for well over a month now. Will definitely use again, brilliant!
I use these all the time for pictures around the house – there is a bit of an art to getting them stick properly – I put 4 around the edges evenly spaced which means this will be 2 pics worth. I also don’t put my proper wooden frame up with these – way too heavy – mostly the cheaper frames and pictures. They are amazing though such a great product and Amazon prices are better much best around.
These are easy to use and will securely mount many things to whatever you choose to mount them to. Just be mindful that heavier items may not be very secure and therefore they are best suited to lighter items. Great for mounting pictures or small items when drilling holes is not permitted.
Used to put up a picture in my kitchen. These strips do the job – shame they r so expensive! I would use more if they were a better price!
Purchased two packs.
The first pack of these was to hold up a small and lightweight notice board. I checked the weight restrictions and all seemed fine. However, after a week or so they came apart and the board fell off the wall. Unfortunately this led to damage as it ripped paint from my wall which had to be repaired.
I did try the second pack and these have held up over one year, so may have just been an issue with that original batch/pack.
Tried to use to hang a mirror on the inside of an IKEA wardrobe door. They didn’t seem to stick very well, probably because the surface of the door is really smooth. Something to bear in mind.
They are a good idea and do what they say. Very strong for sure but the velcro is so strong and the glue as well that when you try to take the picture down without removing them it peels the paint off the wall
Fantastic product! These are super easy to use you HAVE to make sure you use them as it says. I tried to cheat and they didn’t work so went back and used them like it said.
Place them on your wall and product LEAVE them to bond SEPARATELY for 24 hours. Once you have done this you can put your product on the wall and it will stay. They are so good all of the pictures in my house are now put up with these.
Great item as I cannot use a drill or screwdriver to put things up and I now use these and have no problems.
I haven’t tried to take them off the wall so not sure how good they come off but stay on great.
We moved into a new house a couple of years ago where the previous owner clearly had had a lot of pictures nailed into the wall so we had little holes everywhere! After spending the last couple of years refurbishing the house (and filling up the holes!) we were a bit loathed to start putting nails into the wall when hanging our own pictures. A friend of ours told us about the picture hanging strips and they are brilliant! In every room of our house we have pictures of different shapes and sizes all attached to our wall with the picture hanging strips. We have since purchased a range of sizes, from small, medium to large depending on the size and weight of the picture we are hanging and to date not one of the pictures have fallen down. We have had some hanging over 2 years now and they are still secure.
It is important to note that these strips are not to be used on a wallpapered or vinyl wall – they will come down eventually. The details also say they are not recommended for use with antiques, heirlooms or other valuable irreplaceable items.
It is essential that you place the strips onto the wall in line with the instructions, for example, leave them for an hour before hanging up the picture which will ensure sufficient bonding of the strip to the wall. In addition, make sure you use the right sized strip for the size and weight of your picture. Apparently the small strips hold a weight of up to 1.8kg, the medium sized up to 5.4kg and the largest sized strips can hold a weight of up to 7.2kg. The command strips come in different packs, such as the small, medium or large, but they also come in an assorted pack too.
The command strips are easy to remove too. If you pull downwards gently at the bottom and slowly peel them off they will come off the wall without marking the wall behind. They can only be used once though so if you do peel them off with a view to moving the picture elsewhere you will then need to use a new strip.
