Bought these to hang up tea towels in the kitchen – therefore lightweight use.
I followed the instructions to the letter when fixing the hooks, including cleaning the paint surface first.
So far so good – the hooks are staying up. The real test will be if/when we have to remove them and whether or not the plaster will be damaged.
I mean, who doesn’t know what Command Strips are at this point? They’re pretty much the industry standard for a reason; they do what they need to do, they do it well, and they just work. These are no exception. I’m finding the price of these things is creeping up a bit, but I guess that’s the cost of living overall, but they’re still good value and will last for ages.
I brought this so that I could hang my coat up at work. I followed the fixing instructions which were easy and it has stayed up. I’ve not tried to remove it yet so I cannot comment on that part. Would recommend and great that it is a double pack.
Bought to out a coat hook on the back of a door. Easy to fix to the back of the door – gloss paint surface.
Only been a few days but so far it seems to be holding fine (the last brand of hook I tried fell off with a few hours).
Can’t comment on the weight capacity as it’s only being used for a lightweight jacket.
It moves a little bit. There is a clear plastic bracket inside the hook itself and it does move a little, not sure if it’s supposed to be removable? Just be sure to place the sticky pad low enough to get to the release tab for removal.
No idea if it will damage the door/paintwork as I haven’t tried to remove it yet.
Sticks well, except in a kitchen as the humidity will cause it to fall with something heavy attached. Used for a coat and have no issues in a non humid environment.
I love these hooks, saved masses of time , no drilling required and work really well every time I use them especially for Xmas wreath on my new front door and using for tie backs in my conservatory curtains. Great!
Product is easy to place on the wall, with the instructions very clear.
Apart from one time this malfunctioned with a wet coat (heavier than normal), it works great.
I wouldn’t recommend placing too many items and testing your luck with items above 1.5kg, but can always try!
