This is the first cup I have bought that actually keeps drinks warm for hours! I know it’s a wee bit pricier than most but you really do get what you pay for with these cups.
They are really easy to wash too, always a bonus.
No spills either as you press the button when you are ready to take a drink.
I like the size and have around 3 variants from the same maker, the other click lids always leak after about 6 months and the seal breaks, this type never have this issue and will last a good few years.
Been using it every day since I had it. Fits very well in the hand. But it does only keep the drink hot for probably three and a half hours. I’ve Knocked. It. over a couple times. And it didn’t spell a drop. overall, a good product.
I purchased one of these thermal mugs for my wife quite a few years ago which she after all this time dropped down the stairs at her place of work. We are both so impressed with this mug that I had to buy her an exact replacement and she is so happy to have her reliable travel mug back. The mug keeps tea and coffee hot for many hours and cold drink cold the same, the lid is easy operated and the seal stops spillage. The thermal mug also fits into most car cup holders. We think these mugs are the best out of the many alternatives we have tried, absolute total quality!
It is a great cup, it keeps tea and coffee warm for a really long time.
The lid is great as well, no leaks whatsoever!
I bought two, one for coffee and the other one for tea.
One thing to notice is that it’s almost impossible to wash the coffee after taste from the plastic mechanism, but it’s a great cup anyway.
Bought for wife as I’ve already had one for a year or two.
These cups are really good, I’ve had loads of different ones and this is by far the best.
Drinks stay hot for hrs in these, I’ve not measured exactly how long, but I’ve had a coffee 6 hrs after making it and it was still very hot.
The lid has a clever push button to open the valve to drink from, and has a lock switch so that you can stop it from accidentally opening.
I’ve laid this down in my work bag and not had any leakage.
I’ve also dropped my one a few times which doesn’t seem to have done any harm.
It’s also easy to clean.
Would definitely recommend
Before I used it, I did fill it with water and turn it upside down, shook it etc and not a drop leaked out. I feel totally confident that if it was to fall over in my bag or locker or whatever that no liquid would come out at all.
I also really like the button feature – you press it to open the bit you drink from and as soon as you let to of th3 button it seals it tightly shut again. So if you were to put it down anywhere between taking sips and you knocked it over, no spillage will happen at all.
Lastly, it is really easy to take apart to clean and also stays cool to the touch at all times – even when you have just filled it with boiling water, it never feels even slightly warm to hold and so you can put it in lunch bag and not worry about any heat from it affecting anything else in there.
Unfortunately mine didn’t pass the 100% leakproof test, so I wouldn’t recommend tossing it in a bag. The mouthpiece seal works great but the liquid can still get through the actual lid. Personally, this is not a huge problem for me as have a little slot in my bag that keeps the bottle upright but just something to bare in mind if it’s important for others.
Cleaning is fine if you know what you’re doing, you have to play around with the mechanics of the Autoseal a little bit. I’ve had mine for a few weeks and the colour hasn’t eroded like I’ve seen being said in other reviews.
Overall, a great thermos to keep your drink warm. Would recommend 🙂
I bought 2 of these for my wife and myself, and after several weeks of constant use by both of us, we are still happy with them.
They have a locking system to help prevent leaks which has worked perfectly so far, and they do keep liquid warm for a considerable time. (I haven’t tried with cold liquids yet so can’t comment on that.)
On one occasion while I was doing some delivering, I actually forgot that I had it with me, but 4 hours later my coffee was still warm enough to drink.
**A word of caution, they are good at keeping liquid warm, so be careful as you could easily burn yourself. (I learned this the hard way)
Cleaning the lid and the sealing mechanism can be a bit fiddly but ok once you get the hang of it.
All in all a good Travel Mug and I would have no problem buying one of these again.
If, like me, you like your coffee hot then this is the item for you.
So many travel mugs keep your coffee hot for about an hour or so. This one keeps it hot for sooooooooooooo much longer. Don’t believe me? Then buy one and try for yourself.
I found that, after pouring my drink into the mug and replacing the lid, if I did not press the button to drink, then the coffee stayed hot for up-to 5 hours. It may well be longer, but by then I was getting caffeine withdrawal so for my sanity I started to drink.
Once I had started to drink the cup kept the contents hot for about another 45 minutes. Constant opening of the leak-proof slider meant more colder air was getting inside but it still remained at a decent temperature for drinking for a further 30 plus minutes.
This was NOT a scientific test but it was one that verified the claims made on the purchase page.
I am extremely happy with this product and am happy to recommend it.
My wife and I both have these and I use mine often twice a day but at least once every day of the week.
Perfectly holds a double coffee from our bean-to-cup machine which keeps me going most of the day.
My only slight criticism is that, probably because of the design of the lid, it does not keep the contents hot quite as long as my previous sealable flask (I don’t generally pre-heat the flask). However, this one is MUCH easier to drink from, especially in the car. Also, though larger, it still fits in car cup holders (though it stands a little tall of course).
After three years this is still going strong and it hasn’t spilt a drop in all that time.
The colour is slowly coming away in small areas but it doesn’t matter as it doesn’t affect its use.
The top is a bit awkward to clean but a bottle brush really helps.
One of my best purchases.
Really happy with the cup, plenty big enough for your big cup of coffee in the morning. Easy to clean and no leaks as of yet.
One tiny room for improvement is the button to release the drink spout is a bit tough to begin with but does loosen up.
The best. My last one dies after 12 years. Bought a new one. Just the same. Leak proof. Dribble proof. Keeps hot/warm forever. I take it everywhere driving/ on a plane/ in my large handbag (if it’s going to be one of those days) Worth every penny.
Much better than expected! Keeps my drinks hot! (sometimes too hot as I can’t drink them!!). I’ve never had a leak despite not being overly cautious with the full cup. It gets chucked on the passenger seat of the car, in my bag, in my coat pocket etc and not one issue. Love that this can go in the dishwasher (not all colours can so check first) as it makes it so easy to look after. Had also purchased a Thermos equivalent but I his is my go to mug as it’s just so easy and reliable. Would definitely recommend
My third one and highly recommend the range. I’ve knocked off one star though as it dented after a fall to the ground. I think the metal is a bit thinner perhaps than my others…despite the drop didn’t leak at all or crack open. Still usable just wish there was no dent !
The only flask I’ve got that I can throw into my handbag and not worry it will leak. Plus contents stay hot for a decent amount of time.
