I live in a draughty old stone house. My sitting room is not big (about 12′ x18′) and I have a small log-burning stove in there which kept the room cosy but it was still draughty, I bought this fan to see whether it would reduce the draughts. It works a treat!! By moving the warm air from the back of the stove around the room, it keeps the draughts outside the room – so now I am really cosy! I can highly recommend this fan which comes with a life-time warranty – and the customer service is exceptional. Exceptional value.
This is perfect for fitting to the stove pipe, which is the hottest part of our wood burner, so we wanted to extract some of that heat back into the room.
Bought for our log burner. Works as well as the one it replaced. Does make a difference in terms of getting the hot air around the room. Wouldn’t be without one. Happy with this product, great price
We have the fan on top of a Raeburn behind the covers over the cooking plates.
There is not a rush of air from the fan but it circulated the heat around a room of 5m x 4m very effectively and when the room door is opened the heat does circulate outside the room too.
It works surprisingly well.
I used this fan over the Christmas period and found it very good.
As soon as the stove heats up the fan starts and is surprisingly quiet. It really seemed to maximise the heat in the room, so much so that everyone got rather hot!
It’s definitely worth having one and also comes with lifetime warranty. Glad I purchased it.
Good wee fan but can be a bit noisy when working at its maximum revolutions on a very hot stove

Our log burner has a shaped top so isn’t suitable for a fan than sits on the top of it. I bought this 1 to stick to the flue with a magnet. Turns out only a small piece of the pipe is magnetic but this fits well and is perfectly secure . Seems to work as described. A good solution for our problem log burne
This was great whilst it worked, however it swiftly stopped working. I have a word burning stove in good maintenance, was used likely no more than 10-15 times before the fan unfortunately stopped working. Followed all advice so not sure what has happened.
Update: the seller has sent me a free replacement with no hassle, which was much appreciated. No issues with this replacement since!
We chose this fan as it was reasonably priced and had several other good reviews.
We are very pleased with our decision as the fan is very good value. its very quiet , starts spinning quickly , and certainly seemed to us to make a difference in the way the room heated up. We could feel the heat of the stove by the door leading into the hallway and im sure that was the air moving around the room due to the fan.
We have actually bought a second fan now as we think they really help.
Returned item and also had full refund plus new fan as a free of charge replacement. Worked fine and is actually very good. Company acknowledged original was faulty.

The fan itself is absolutely fine but the belt to attach it to the pipe was not long enough so we had to buy another belt which was really for a car so was chrome coloured instead of black to match the flu pipe as the original one was. It’s a shame because it added to the cost and is visible but it works and worse things happen.
