Liked the tab/lever fitment to attach to the wheel valve. As an older person I now find screw twist fittings harder to use but this lever is great. Accurate as far as I can tell.
Used this to inflate my car tyres, to be fair it does what it says it blows air what more do you want.
Comes in a nice case to keep everything neat, first time I used it set the gauge and off it went the display is easy to read and the whole thing is easy to use, other than that not much more to say as it’s what I wanted and it was cheaper than Halfords
This is small enough to stick in the boot of your car and forget about until you need it. The whole thing fits in a zipped storage bag that comes with it.
It does come with a set of instructions but it is so intuitive to use these are almost superfluous. The cables are a good length and all tuck neatly in the back of the compressor when not in use. It is quite quick in use and took about a minute to pump a tyre from 32psi to 38psi. Attaching the hose is simple as it just pushes on and then an arm is folded out to secure it in place. On the downside it is quite noisy but then most compressors are. It won’t be being used for extended periods of time so this isn’t really a problem.
It comes with a large number of adaptors for pumping up balls, airbeds, bikes etc. This is useful but as the compressor is powered from a 12V car cigarette lighter you will need to be next to your car to use it.
A great tool to keep in the car at a reasonable price.
My car has a tyre that very slowly deflates over the course of about a month or so. It’s been professionally checked, and tyre replaced, and no fault has been found, but the deflation continues so for the moment I’m living with it. So for me, having the security of an inflator readily to hand is essential. I have a bigger car power station that inflates tyres as well as a number of other uses, but it’s a bind to retrieve it from the camper, ensure it’s charged and use for the car, so this little inflator is a perfect solution to keep in the car and have readily to hand. It is noisy, but all tyre inflators are and it would be unreasonable to expect otherwise. The machine is compact and tidy away in its own bag, and easily kept permanently in the car in case of emergency. I’ve docked a star for the pressure accuracy – when compared with my other machine and the inflater ot the local petrol station, this one was reading just over 1 psi over. However, in practical terms that is acceptable and worth putting up with for the convenience. For the price (22.99 at time of writing) this is an affordable piece of kit for peace of mind. Recommended.
