I have a lot of EU style plugs and have to convert to UK style when back in the UK. These did exactly that. At the momento they are working well. Great value in my view

I need these for portable stage lights that came with Euro power cables — but very good quality ones, so didn’t want to just replace the cables. These do the job well and, by fully enclosing the plug, are safer than the cheapie ones I first used, in an environment where a number of different people will be plugging/unplugging, and there’s a lot of foot (and coat and bag!) traffic. They grip the plugs reasonably well, and not too tight, which can be a nuisance. (That said, I have now gaffered them in, but that was because somebody separated lead and adapter, and then put the adapter in the wrong bag!)

They are a bit bulky for travelling (hence 4 stars for that), and I’ve thrown my old (smaller) ones into my suitcase for personal use. But if you’re not trying (like me) desperately to shrink everything into smaller bags, they’d be great for that too.

Overall great – and if the next lot of lights also come with Euro cables, I’ll buy more of these.
