A good long bottle with a sturdy stopper. It’s narrower than another one I have but that doesn’t really matter. My only gripe really is the thin fluffy cover. Just a cheap cover which molts too. Bits of grey fluff everywhere. Can’t remember what I paid for it, it wasn’t an expensive purchase, so its probably ok for the money. Have used quite a bit and all good for the heat it gives out.
This is a long water bottle and can be used in areas where you want to have warmth over a larger area, and the wife loves it. The only real down side is that this takes 2 litres of hot water and you need to have a kettle that can boil that amount of water, you should also consider that when full these weighs in at 2 kilos so may not be ideal for frail people.
After a fall and hurting my shoulder, arm and hand this hot water bottle draped over my shoulder and down my arm helped ease the pain. Note to self – stay upright.
These were great for keeping warm in the winter nights ( saving on energy bills!) They stayed warm for hours.
And because of the shape they keep more of you warm.
TIP: if you don’t fully fill ensure you push all the extra air out of the bottle before capping, to prevent pressure that could cause it to burst.
TIP: check it’s not leaking after twisting cap on, especially with young children.
I bought this for my daughter and she loves it, perhaps a bit too much, because now I have given myself an extra job of filling it every evening, so be prepared for nightly standing next to your kettle.
The cover is amazing, it gives off just the right amount of warmth that I’m confident to let her sleep with it without fear of scalding if she lays on it.
The construction is an inner rubber bottle with a safe, strong screw top, the same as traditional ones.
What’s also impressed me is the heat retention, that in the morning the bottle still gives off some warmth.
Great to wrap around or hug, my wife wanted a long hot water bottle and this one came up in a nice grey colour. Now the weather has turned, I can make her a hot water bottle and a cup of tea to warm up instead of putting the heating on! She’s very pleased with it. A lovely gift for little money
Really good price! the hot water bottle is the perfect size and is great for aches and pains. I love to use it for menstrual pains, and It really helps. The material is really soft and doesn’t malt from the fleece which is great. The heat lasts really long and doesn’t leak at all. Overall its really durable and an affordable price for how big it is!
I didn’t even know that long water bottle exist until my friend sent me the link to this one! What a revelation. With electricity bills going up, this is a great water bottle to take to bed as it heats up the whole length of bed, not just one patch. I am honestly so exited about this. Kids have confiscated it of course, so will have to buy another couple of them probably.
