These Fairy Platinum tablets seem to give a far superior clean compared to the Finish tablets they have replaced. To keep running costs down, I tend to use the eco setting on our dishwasher. It takes 3 hours but everything is spotless and dry when the cycle is complete. The 40 minute quick wash is also impressive with these tablets for non-baked on deposits.

I have found these very good at dealing with greasy plates and dishes. They are very easy to use as they do not need to be unwrapped but can be added straight to the machine. Excellent in a hot, short wash.

These don’t clean as well as the manufacturers like you to think they do, but they are okay!
They often leave ‘burnt-on’ residue on glass ovenware which requires a scrub and then a second wash. They failed to clean the remnants of parboiled spuds that had been fluffed up in a sauce pan after two attempts!
Another benefit I’ve noticed is that these tablets seem to work well with different water hardness levels. Where I live, the water is quite hard, and Fairy Platinum tablets still manage to clean effectively without leaving any marks. Overall, I’m very satisfied with their performance and would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable dishwasher tablet. My only small concern is the price, I wish they were a bit cheaper. Nonetheless, the quality you get is worth the extra cost.
