It was a pain to assemble but not impossible, I was left with few excess nuts but it works fine. It’s sold as a desk but I bought the 80 x 180 version to use as a sewing table, it rises to 90cm and is on wheels which makes it perfect for this, it’s so much cheaper than a purpose built sewing table.
Desk arrived in perfect condition via two packages. Assembly went well, not Ikea level clarity in instructions but fairly good for Chinese origin. However, with top built and legs built the problem came when tried to connect the legs onto the top. The 4x predrilled threaded holes on each side of the top are not in the right location for the metal leg support brackets. See photo attached with table upside down, the 4x holes don’t align. I went over everything 10+ times thinking I’d put something together incorrectly, but no everything was correct – the holes are in the wrong place! I think it’s a different leg/desktop assembly maybe dependent on colour selection. I had rustic top with black legs. Looks great. Contacted Amazon customer services who said as 3rd party I’d need to return it and they’d refund it. I’d spent an hour by this point and the thought of arranging the 40+kg return wasn’t worth it, so I drilled alternative holes to match the bracket spacing and using washers with small screws attached myself. It’s now up and feels solid. The height mechansim works well and travels smoothly between min 72cm and max 116cm. I was hoping for 120cm as I’m 6’4″ but maxes out at 116cm. All in all 4*, would have got higher without the hole alignment issue. Overall, and now it’s up, I’m happy with it for the price.
Amazing product for the price. Top of desk is Not one whole piece. It is made up of four pieces. The motor function is great. My only criticism is the control panel should be at the very end as can get in the way a bit when using the desk with two people / chairs.
Was slightly concerned when I only received one parcel however the next box showed up the following day.
For the money the desk is brilliant, the desktop comes in 4 pieces and the overall quality is good for the money.
There is a slight back and fourth wobble with the desk however its minimal.
Overall very happy.
This desk represents outstanding value and works perfectly as well as looking very modern and chic.
Assembly was generally ok even though the instructions and part labelling could have been better. Cable management is decent but it could have used an additional two holes/outlets or perhaps one central one instead of being on the far left.
The desk seems very stable in all operating positions with just a small amount of wobble on the highest setting. The presets are very convenient and it moves up and down quickly and smoothly.
