This switch display has so many uses! Even if you just want a regular display for every day use, this screen is very versatile. Parts can be changed in and out and the quality of the screen is top notch. I would 10/10 recommend this to anyone wanting to improve their portable gaming!
The competition for favourite uncle in my family is tough and my nephew does like to play on that. However with this device it was an easy victory for me. The G-stor 10.1″ monitor is the dream addition to the Switch. It gives a much larger and better quality screen.
It also comes with two batteries and has built in speakers that provide good quality audio. It’s an expensive addition but for anyone who spends a lot of time using a switch, they will love this.
Great product, fair price and definitely won me favourite Uncle status for the timebeing.
Good size of the screen and easy to use it , the screen has good resolution and it comes with two rechargeable batteries and they last longer, yes it seem like perfect but is this issue with the usb-c connection on the left hand corner that is to close to the grip . In general this product is good and works very well.
There appears to be mixed reviews on here but in my experience I couldn’t be happier with this product.
G-STORY portable monitor increases the Switch’s screen to 10.1″ and with the addition of the built in speakers gives a far improved gaming experience.
There is no need for additional wires so it couldn’t be easier. When your switch is connected to the portable monitor it simultaneously charges the console while playing, so there is no need to remove the console to charge separately.
The monitor can also be used as a monitor for other devices via USB.
My grandchildren love having the bigger monitor and I was impressed with the quality of the graphics.
As soon as my grand children saw this they took over and I sat and wondered at the abilities of the younger generation. If you play on screen games this should be of interest to you. It is a mobile monitor that can be shared with others. Other wise it becomes a mobile gaming The whole consul charges as it is used. Has built in speakers although there is no bass they are very clear.
I was surprised how clear the visuals were. Although I’m not heavily into this type of gaming I found I was getting into it by the end of the night. I haven’t used it yet as secondary monitor.
The product came as described. The large screen is great and playing Prince of Persia on this is nothing short of awesome. But the screen is however a finger print magnet. Plus I’m not sure how easily it could be scratched. Time to look for a screen protector. I also had an issue with USB-C connection on the left hand corner. It is a little too close to the grip but I was able to find an old USB-C cable I had laying around with a thinner plug (see picture). The included USB-C male to female cable was too “fat” to fit. I also tested the unit out with two 18650 batteries (had a couple from some flashlights). Running on the 18650 batteries of mine (2600mAh each) didn’t last very long. With a fully charged Switch, I was only able to play about 35-40 minutes. Though I wasn’t really trying to do any benchmarking. Overall I really enjoyed playing on this and would highly recommend it.
As far as gifts for a kid who likes gaming go this is pretty up there.
The G-Story 10.1″ portable monitor for switch will be the envy of your kids friends. The screen is of brilliant quality, comes with two rechargeable batteries for long usage times and the switch fits perfectly onto the device.
Game play is great on the larger screen and it makes gaming more enveloping.
