Item charges pretty quickly and heats up even quicker. Has three heat settings and only really use it on setting 1, very toastie. Can also be used to warm up your boots or shoes if they have been left in the cold.
An I’ve warm hands. Popped one of these electric hand warmers in each glove. 60 seconds later popped them out while blowin my burnin hands. Turned them down to minimum setting after that. I was out hiking as usual, temps were around negative 2, so pretty cool.
They kept my hands an body warmed over 8 hours. I popped them into inner chest pockets of my jacket, my body was well warm, an puttin my hands in outer top pockets they got the benefit as well.
They were set on lowest heat an still had charge left after 8 hours. Pretty impressive
I wanted a set of rechargeable hand warmers for a trip abroad. These were reasonably priced with good reviews and didn’t disappoint. They warm up quickly and it’s nice that you can adjust the temperature to suit the conditions. A full charge lasted a weekend away no problem.
I find myself outdoors quite often throughout the year. On the very cold days, I would pick up some air-activated 8-hour hand warmers from the local shop. They would work great… but if I’m only out for a couple of hours, it feels a bit of a waste. Especially if I have to go out again later, and they’ve already gone cold. And then you have to wait for them to cool down before just throwing them in the bin.
But these rechargeable hand warmers are incredible. Turn them on only when you need them, and they heat up quickly. Set them to the temperature you need, for your comfort. Turn them off when you are done, and they quickly cool down again, so you can stick them in your pocket without burning yourself. They are far superior to disposable ones.
They last a decent amount of time, and come with a dual-charging cable, so can always be recharged via a power bank if you are going to need them for longer (though I haven’t had to yet). Another great feature is that the two hand warmers can clip together into one unit, to keep them together.
All in all, I can highly recommend these hand warmers, and only wish there were foot ones available too!
Really great and useful hand warmers. Bought these for my Mum who suffers from cold hands. Comes with 2 in the pack and a USB A to twin USB C cable so you can charge both warmers at once.
They work really well and have different settings for the heat outpu
It’s always nice to have some hand warmers on a cold winter’s day and these fit the bill. They are fairly simple and unlike other models I have seen, these are just handwarmers and don’t double up as an emergency power bank for your phone which is a shame and I think misses a trick as you could get a full charge between the two units. (I did try with a USB C- USB C cable to check and unfortunately no luck!)
They are great quality though and physically click together – not with any fancy magnets – they just slot together and held in place with a slimline but durable pair of “hooks”. As for the size – they were smaller than I expected but fit nicely in the hand.
One thing I did notice however and something to be aware of was when I got them out of the packet, I spotted one of them was turned on. Whether that was just the way I was holding the package before opening, or whether it turned on in transport or some other possibility I am not sure but the thing to note is that there is no safety lockout – either though a rapid multi-press or physical locking switch – one long press and they are active which could easily happen unintentionally as I found out.
As for the heat, it is worth noting that each warmer only heats up on one side, so when clicked together they heat up all around, but when used separately – one in each hand, I found that the most comfortable way to hold them was with the curved (heated) surface in my palm with my fingers wrapped around to the flat side, which meant my fingers – the coldest bits – weren’t getting any heat.
As for the heat settings, there are 3 levels. They seem to fluctuate so must be using some sort of timer to heat up and turn off at intervals, but I would say setting 3 is too hot for bare skin – fine through a pocket or something. Setting 2 worked best to be comfortable, and setting 1 wasn’t really that effective.
The battery life seems reasonable and they ran for several hours when I used them with a heat setting of 2 – more than adequate for a nice winter walk or a few hours outdoors. I will be keeping them charged up and in my coat pockets so that they are there when I need them over the winter.
These are a pair of handwarmers that can be used singly or combined into one unit. They have 2 x 3000 mAh batteries and use a USB cable with 2 C-port leads on it so you can charge both handwarmers with one USB cable. They have three heat settings, low, medium and high. They heat up very quickly. One charge should last 8.5 – 16 hours, however if using the higher settings the battery power runs down more quickly. I found high a bit hot to the touch so better used with gloves or in pockets if using high. The handwarmers are lightweight, small and neat and fit very well into my hands which are quite small. The handwarmers fit inside gloves really well and will be very handy this winter. The unit is useful indoors and outdoors for any cold spots you have. I find them a real comfort when I am working on my laptop and feeling the cold just for a burst of heat. These would make a nice gift or perfect for a little treat for yourself.
