My unit was branded SUNNYLIFE.
In some ways this is a better unit than DJi’s offering, as the Sunnylife’s GoPro mount at the back folds in flat, plus there is a fold-out GoPro mount and a 1/4″ tripod socket at the bottom. When placed on a flat surface such as a table or desk, the camera sits flat with no wobble, unlike DJI’s adapter which leaves the rounded bottom of the camera wobbling nastily on a flat surface.
The Sunnylife has also thought carefully about where the lanyard cable can be routed should one be attached to the camera and they have left a neat oblong hole for it. That’s a nice touch.
DJI’s adapter however allows connection of a battery grip etc, along with a USB-C port for charging the camera. You do therefore need to remove the Sunnylife adapter in order to charge the OSMO Pocket 3.
In summary, if you don’t want to attach a battery grip or need to recharge the camera, or require the cold shoe mount of the DJI adapter, the Sunnylife adapter is my most frequently attached accessory.
