I have used JOOP perfumes before but haven’t been a huge fan as they can be too intense for me giving me a headache, but this one’s different! I am glad I went for it, it smells incredible.
The fragrance is not very intense and it settles down to something very exquisite, sensual and attractive. This one is from the Le Parfum range which is supposed to be the longest lasting one and take my word for it – it is! I could smell it on my skin the next day, somewhat 18 hours later. It was a light but still noticeable smell. My partner could smell it too so there’s another confirmation. Due to this, you really don’t need to spray a lot.
I would put this fragrance as something you could wear to night outs, social gatherings and other occasions. I don’t see it as a daily wear fragrance due to the richness of the smell and longevity. For the price point, it’s one of the best intense fragrances you would definitely want to use.
JOOP HOMME came up and I thought my husband can trial it, as this scent and make is not what he wears

After a shower, he put some on, now some men think you cannot smell it much, and go overkill on spraying
Not a good thing to do. JOOP has a nice but not to strong scent. This fragrance is actually really nice, I love the scent on him.

No scents that are decent are cheap, I would say price wise, about right. The size 75ml is good and should last if only a little used a time
The colour in the bottle is a deep red, kind of blackcurrant juice colour..
The scent is supposed to be a lavender/Iris kind of scent, neither of us can smell that at all
The scent does smell strong in the bottle, but can be worn all day, without any touch up sprays
Very much a masculine smell, a little woody
The scent does smell like Avon Mesmerise red for men, but more of a deeper scent.

The weaker fragrance(Eau de Toilette) is designed to last around 2 hours depending on the skin, as fragrances last different on everyone. The next strength (Eau de Perfume) is design for up to a 4/6 hour period. Perfume is the strongest and peruse of the perfume range and will last pretty much all day. And that is what you are getting here. Note a little goes a long way, so don’t over do it.
The fragrance is floral, but with a hint of masculine musk. It smells lovely, one of the nicest male fragrances my husband has worn.
This perfume comes as a spray, so no slapping it on, just spray where you want it to go. At 75ml the bottle is a decent size and should last ages, so long as you keep it out of sunlight.
