Wasn’t sure what to expect with this product. Had never used or seen a tens machine before.
It came with clear instructions. My machine had some charge in it so I could try it strate away.
It’s easy to navigate through the different settings. Which there is a variety. Where you place the pads makes a massive difference to the experience lol it’s just trial an error.
The battery lasts a long time which I was pleasantly surprised at. Also it turns its self off after the allotted time which I think is great.
I have used for a while it does give some relief is easy to use can fit in a pocket for mobility when using. The battery life is good. I use it as a break from painkillers and various rubs for a damaged shoulder.
I bought this as a replacement for an old TENS machine. It has 12 modes with variable intensities. It’s a hand size, easy to use and comes with its own little pouch. The only negative thing I’d say is it doesn’t have a clip to attach to clothing or waist band so you need to carry it.
Pros:
* Great size. Easy to put control in pocket and walk about with it on
* Controls easy with no fuss set up
* Great to have 4 ports for 4 pads at the same time for those niggles that need it
* Helpful to stimulate muscles after my sporting injury – to help kick start the healing
* Good to know more pads can be purchased – pads are pretty sticky so even on the leg walking about they don’t fall off
Cons:
* Part of the pro is the size, so the screen is small – so not so good for people with really bad eyesigh
Bought this machine on 5th April for my husband who is in constant pain with a shoulder injury, the pain also radiates down his arm, unfortunately he’s been taking pain killer’s constantly for quite a while now which of course is not ideal – this little machine has been the only thing so far that has helped his pain and allowing him to stop the painkillers on the days he uses it. He probably wears the pads every couple of days and still hasn’t had to replace them with the ones we bought at the same time as the machine. I’m not a doctor and it’s not for me to suggest people rush to order this machine for whatever pain they might be suffering with, but based on my husband’s excellent results with it I’m inclined to say exactly that, as this is totally drug free pain relief with so many different intensities to try – finally it’s very easy to work out, charge up and apply the pads. Excellent price point considering what it can do.
The 1st one delivered didnt work but amazon sorted it out within a day and got a new one sent the next day, which works perfect does the job its meant to do, the machine is small enough to fit in a pocket, the pads stick fast and the wires are quite long so do pull when walking around.
When you reach a certain age little things like TENS come very handy.
This one is excellent, powerful and much loved 😉 Love the variety of programs. Battery life is great. I was so pleased with it I bought it for my mum too.
My partner used it too when he had some back and shoulder pains and he was impressed with this little device and it is not that easy to impress him.
My husband is having a lot of pain in his hip and based on the number of positive reviews, I ordered this TENS machine for him. It really does match up to a 5* rating. Small and discrete, easy to use, multiple settings to find the right level and type of pulse for the pain you have. Really good value for money.
I bought this to help my 15 year old daughter with period pains. It seems to have done the trick. There are a lot of settings and she spent quite a while playing with them. However she reports that it has really helped her – says it reduces the sharp pains to a dull ache-y type of pain.
I have a trapped nerve behind my left knee which prevents me from walking properly and causes pain down left leg and right knee.
I have only had the machine for 5 days but can already say it is making a difference and I have not taken any pain killers. My son has problems with his back and neck and having tried it twice has already taken delivery of his own device.
It is really easy to use and the different modes give you a different pulse. You simply choose which one you prefer.
Review update after 2 weeks ….. I use the device 3-4 times a day and whilst it has not untapped the nerve behind my knee, I definitely feel relief from the pain while it is working. For me this is about keeping the blood flow in the lower leg until I can have an operation and to reduce the pain caused by the trapped nerve. On both counts I am happy with it.
My wife woke up with a stiff back the other day so we put two pads on her back and after the 20 minute program she felt as if her back had limbered up before getting out of bed. She definitely felt that her back went back to normal much quicker than if she had simply got out of bed and tried to stretch it out.
I had the older model, but it sadly gave up. Bought this one as I can still use the pads, even though the connecting wires are different and so is the charging cable. I still like it very much and love the extra modes. Helps me cope with the pain.
This thing saves my life every couple of months when I have a crippling endometriosis episode as I call them. Where I can hardly walk. I had been using prescription pain killers to combat the pain but now with this I can use a lot less pain killers sometimes none at all.
This device is the “real deal”, absolutely love it. I remember having a Tens machine a few years back and technology has definitely moved on.
The modes are simple to understand and really feel like the actual practice being delivered my a physio. I have arthritis in one knee and in the other a repaired knee from an ACL op. During lockdown I have been struggling with sore legs and tug by hamstring as I am not as mobile and sitting too much. I have used this for a few days only and feel the results already, so very pleased.
This is small, and light. The battery (rechargeable via micro USB) isn’t that large, which is probably why the thing is so light, but it last surprisingly long between charges.
The battery is just 120mAh and when you think most mobile phones have anything from 3500-5000mAh batteries you can see how small it is. The thing is that light I was initially worried it was a dummy case (got a mp3 player like that before – just a case, no insides.) Happy to report this is a real life working product! In terms of size, it fits neatly in my palm.
There are 12 preset “patterns”, two channels and two sets of two pads. There is a good range of settings, the highest can be near untolerable to be honest. I ramped it up just to see. Ouch!
I paid more for a much bigger TENS machine some time ago. This one is easily better. It comes with a black travel pouch and I gather you can buy replacement pads too. No need for that yet, the ones included are still very ‘sticky’.
This is an amazing little device, well worth buying a TENS machine with two cables (i.e. 4 pads) l was suffering from sciatica and bursitis after hip surgery, l’ve been using this machine every day morning and evening and l can honestly say my pain has almost gone! It’s so simple to set up and it’s a bonus that it is rechargable. It is brilliant!!
I can’t comment on using this item as I had to return it – it is not immediately clear from the description but this cannot be used for early labour pains, which is what I had intended to use it for.
After a car accident last year I have suffered with intermittent back pain. I had received physio and was doing really well, but relied on constant movement and trips to the gym to keep my back healthy. During the lockdown I had a particularly bad flare up and I invested in this after recommendations from a few friends. Prior to this I was using a mix of over the counter pain medication. After using it a few times I am now almost pain free. It offers pain relief, this does slightly wear off (I have been using it to manage acute back pain), but was far more efficacious than pain medication, and comes with the benefit of not having any side effects. Since using this product I have had no need to use pain medication. The product itself is lightweight, and easy to use, with a good battery life. I am able to continue to do work and other household activities whilst being hooked up. Try to avoid going too high on the intensity too quickly-build up to find which is the best setting for you and what intensity works best for the type of pain you’re experiencing.
I have been suffering from 2 hernia’s in my spine for a while and spent a fortune on physiotherapy and at one time my consultant was suggesting surgery. I tried one of these machines and was amazed at the almost instant relief I got from it. I purchased this one because of the 4 pads as I could really target the pain and discomfort I was in. After 1 month, I was almost pain and symptom free and now I use it twice a week as a precaution. My physiotherapist is amazed and they are no longer talking surgery.
Very pleased with this, use it daily. Gives required relief (although it’s not a cure). Very easy to use, like features such as pad covers with a red dot on so you can see them, light and easy to view handset, battery lasts a long time before needing a recharge, neat carrying case, able to purchase new pads when required. Can tell it’s associated with St John’s Ambulance
