Bought these for ‘extreme’ dog walking covering all terrains, although they felt heavy out of the box, they are very comfortable to walk in and don’t feel heavy at all in use. They are good quality and should last well.

My old boots had turned out not to be waterproof so I bought these recently for a weekend away when it was due to snow. Bought size 7 as recommended (usual shoe size 5.5/6) and it was good size for wearing thick socks with. Whereas I haven’t completely immersed them in water yet, the boots were great for a long forest walk in the snow, completely warm and waterproof the whole time. Love my new boots!
I have tested my new wellies today and I am very pleased with them. They feel comfortable, good grip, adjustable at the top and they have got good thickness to them. They feel warm, no need for another pair of socks.
Bought these for my 12 year old daughter who works in stables after a horse riding class. Ordinary wellies were too cold for winter. These boots are very worm. They are a bit heavy and pricy but that’s ok as they do the job. Daughter says that she walks in them fine. She wears trainers size 6. So I brought the boots the same size.
So bought these for dog walking back in October. Most comfortable wellies I have had. Worn them pretty much everyday until a few days ago they let in water and I found they had both split In same place on inside by big toe. I contacted Lakeland themselves and they emailed Amazon customer service number as there is a 12 month warranty with them. I returned for free and have been refunded. They said I must have had a faulty pair. Not so sure but they were so comfy I will give them another go as I know I can get a refund.
These wellington boots fit brilliantly well, true to size, and are extremely comfortable. The adjustable straps ensure the boots are not flapping around my skinny calves and the soles are thick and ridged to prevent slipping in icy conditions. The neoprene feels comfortable and provides warmth, I’m sure, and they certainly look super cool. However, I found the boots very heavy to walk in just across my living-room floor and would be reluctant to attempt my usual long circuits around the village where I live.
Early days with these wellies, but they seem very good. Will know more in Spring/Summer next year, when they’ve completed a winter of regular dog walking; hence 4 stars rather than 5. They’ve a lot to live up to, because they were bought to replace my much loved Aigles which lasted 13yrs before starting to leak. Anyway, I’m usually a 4, but have wide feet so ordered size 5, which are fine. They’re lightweight, easy to get on & off, & easy clean, good grip in muddy conditions & seem warm.
